My Favourite Laura Mercier Products

 

Today, I am going to be writing a brand breakdown on Laura Mercier. I can remember first hearing about Laura Mercier as a young girl. I would race home and watch YouTube, the likes of Pixi Woo and Wayne Goss. They would always mention the brand Laura Mercier and it peaked my interest. At the time, they had some amazing flagship products like the Secret Camouflage Concealer and the Translucent Powder. The items went onto my ever growing wish list of items. As soon as I was earning my own cash, I picked up so many items. Some of which I still love that I will speak about in this blog post. As I said, Laura Mercier is a brand that has stood the test of time with amazing and great quality products. Here are my favourite Laura Mercier products.

 

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation.

I am a sucker or a foundation as I am sure you guys already know. When this foundation by Laura Mercier was first released, I knew I was going to try it. The thing that I adore about this foundation is that it sits so well all day long. I know that I can rely on this foundation and it will look perfectly all day long. It is actually one of those items that tends to look better and better on the skin as the day goes on. I adore things like that!

 

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer.

I can remember when this concealer first came out a couple of years back, I really wanted to get my hands on it. Up to that point, I had exclusively been using the Tarte Shape Tape and I was ready to try something else. I got my hands on this Laura Mercier Concealer and I almost instantly fell in love. My favourite thing about this concealer has to be that it is not so much liquid as it is a gel. The consistency is unlike anything that I have ever tried before. It feels quite cooling, highly hydrating and with a fantastic amount of coverage.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Where the bloody hell do you start when it comes to the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. For going on a decade, this is the only face powder that I have used. Over the years there has been other occasions when I have trailed something else out, but generally speaking, this is what I use. I know that this is going to set my makeup in place all day long. It looks fantastic and keeps me matte. I feel like everybody will be on the same page as me when it comes to this wonderful item. Without a doubt a favourite Laura Mercier product of mine!

 

Laura Mercier Blusher.

There are very few blushes that I truly adore. Over the years I have had many disasters with blush. One of the issues could be because I was using far too much. A second issue was because the shades just weren’t right for me. In the end, after trying out Laura Mercier blushes, I fell in love. They always apply like a dream. For me, the shades all work with my very medium/tan skin tone. I have been using these blushes for going on 5 years now and they are more or less exclusively all I use now.

 

Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer.

When they first released this range of primers, I was intrigued. Mainly because they flew a load of the top influencers out to Courchevel. That is probably a rant that I could have another day, but I will leave that for now. Anyway, I wanted this primer. As soon as I got my hands on it and started using it, I would say that my makeup began to look so much better. As I have gotten older, my skin has got much dryer. This Laura Mercier primer just helps to balance out my skin and give me a perfected look.

 

Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks.

I am queen of the lazy girls and that means that I love quick products. When it comes to eyeshadow, I am the same. The truth is, I wish that I had enough inside me to create wonderful makeup looked. Truth is, I just cannot be arsed. The beauty of the Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Sticks is that I can scribble them in place and they take next to no blending. With these, my eyeshadow is on within a minute or two. I have been using these for the best part of a decade and I will without a doubt carry on for many years to come!
