My Everyday Makeup Products

 

It is time for a new beauty post and today it is all about my everyday makeup products. As I am sure you already know by now, I am a sucker for all things makeup related. I first really got into makeup when I was a teen and now as a near on 30-year-old, I love it more than ever, Because I have so much makeup in my collection, sticking to one thing can be hard. However, in this post I am going to share the products that I keep going back to. These are my everyday makeup products that never let me down. Plus, I know that they are going to look good all day long. All of these I have bought with my own money and continue to do so!

 

Fenty Hydrating Foundation.

The first item that I am going to mention is the Fenty Hydrating Foundation. When Rihanna first came out with her original foundation because I wanted to love it, but it just didn’t work for me. Then, I tried this and I fell in love. This is hydrating on the skin. Blends in like a dream. Has the perfect amount of coverage for a daily basis. The list really does go on. I love how transformative this is on the skin and I actually look forward to applying it. I think over the past year I must have gone through 3 tubes of this because I have bene exclusively using it!

 

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

When it comes to concealers, I have used more of them than I care to mention. Because I do use them for highlighting, I feel like I have a long list of criteria that I look for. The main one being, I want it to be hydrating. For years I used the Tarte Shape Tape underneath my eyes and it dried out the skin and made it look quite crepey. Then, I went back to my good old faithful the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and I feel in love. I don’t get why I ever moved away from this. It is hydrating, covers everything and blends out so easily!

 

Fenty Crème Bronzer.

As you may already know, I am a sucker for a crème bronzer. I have tried out so many cream contouring and bronzing products over the years. To be honest, I am so glad that I have settled on this amazing item. The Fenty Crème Bronzer is a great staple product that every makeup lover should own. There is a fantastic range of shades available. It blends into the skin seamlessly and gives dimension and colour where needed. I have exclusively been using this for a long time and I adore how it looks on the skin!

 

Hourglass Veil Powder.

I feel like for such a long time, I have been having an enduring battle with powder. I want my powder to stay in place and not move, however I don’t want to try out my skin. As I get older, I am more and more conscious about my skin getting older. With powder, I felt like my fine lines were more accentuated and I hated it. Enter the Hourglass Veil Powder. This stuff makes my skin look lovely and smooth, in no way overly dry and I adore it. For so many years I was enduring the Laura Mercier and I could have been using this stuff!

 

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer.

For such a long time, I was using and loving the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer in the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette. As soon as she came out with a full-size bronzer, I knew I was going to have to purchase. I went with shade 3 and I think that is just ideal for my medium skintone. I do think that there is scope to add more shades into the range for deeper complexions, but that is a different matter. This is a great colour, blends into the skin flawlessly and looks amazing at all times.

 

Dior Contour Palette.

I can remember seeing this palette when it was first released. As much as I wanted it, I just didn’t think that it would work for me. Because I do have quite a deep/tan complexion, usually one stop palettes like this do not work for me. The highlighters are normally too light, or the contour shades look ashy. This Dior Contour palette is just flawless for me and on my skin. Both highlighters are to die for and offer a subtle glow. The two contour shades are ideal not just for contouring, but for also warming up the skin and adding more dimension. A great all in one solution!

 

Vieve Essentials Palette.

When Jamie Genevieve came out with her brand Vieve at the start of 2021, I knew I was in trouble. Not only is she one of my favourite YouTubers, she is also a great makeup artist. The first item that I ever bought was the Essentials palette and I do not regret it for one minute. Every single shade in this palette is so easy to use and versatile. Plus, I have been using this pretty much exclusively for the past 6 months now and I always think that my eye makeup looks amazing. Not to mention that I have put them through their paces with what I pair them with and it always looks great!

 

Nars Climax Mascara.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I was wrong when I slagged off high-end mascara. I used to think that they were no different to what was on the high-street. After trying the Nars Climax, I am not eating my own words. This stuff is just volume in a tube, and I love that. I take the loaded brush and really work that into the base of my lashes and within a second, I have enviable volume. Something that I could never achieve with my Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I don’t even want to think about how many tubes of this I have now bought!

 

Refy Brow Kit.

Last but by no means least on my everyday makeup products has to be the Refy Brow Kit. I bought this after being heavily influenced by social media and I do not regret it. Before using this, I was all about the Benefit 24 Hours Brow Setter. This stuff blows that out of the water. As soon as I sit down to apply my makeup, I start out by using the Brow Sculpt to position my brows in place. I am not the kind of girl that can do the stuck-up bushy look, but I like to take them a little upwards and then to the side. When I use this, they are in place all day long!
