It is time for a new beauty review, and it is all about the KVD Good Apple Foundation. I am sure that you guys saw this cream foundation explode on Tik Tok at the beginning of the year. At first, I was seeing it and it instantly piqued my interest.
I have always been a sucker for a cream foundation and if it is full coverage, even better. Needless, as soon as I saw this land on the Boots website, I picked one up and gave it a whirl. Since its first astronomical release, I have seen many mixed reviews. Some people love this item, and some people are unsure. It has taken me the best part of 6 months to reach a final decision and feel comfortable to share this review with you.
The coverage.
The biggest talking point about this KVD Good Apple Foundation was the coverage. I think that the viral Tik Tok showed somebody swiping this onto their face and the level of coverage was off the charts. Because I have areas of concern like my hyper pigmentation, I like to go for full coverage. From the very start, I have applied this using my It Cosmetics Foundation brush and it buffs in so easily and gives a very full coverage finish. It is much like everything else, you can get intense coverage, but then you can also sheer it out if needed.

How other products layer.
Up next, I am going to be talking about how other products layer with the KVD Good Apple Foundation. As I mentioned, I have now been using this foundation for a very long time indeed. Because of that, I have paired this with just about every single makeup combination that I have in my collection. There is nothing that I have thrown at this cream foundation that I think it has struggled with and that I truly adore. I know that there is no moving around or separating as I am sat applying my makeup.

The shade ranges.
I do have to say that when this foundation was first released, the share range impressed me. I know that most foundations these days has a vast range. That being said, I still always check out the shade range and undertones to check that it is not just a token gesture. I will admit, there are many lighter tones than deeper, but overall, the shade range is good. I have a friend; Alisha and she has a very beautiful and deep complexion, and she can find her correct shade with no issues!
The longevity.
The next thing that I am going to talk about is the longevity of the item. This is the biggest stickler for people and where things seem to be going wrong. This is a foundation designed for people with dry skin. It is a very balmy texture foundation and that means that it has a high level of moisture. When I apply this at 7am in a morning before work. As it gets to around midday, I am going to need to blot and oil. If I was to leave this all day long, I don’t even want to think about what would happen to the base. However, I blot with tissue and then apply a touch of powder and it is brought right back to life!

Would I repurchase?
I think that the long and short of this blog post is that I would repurchase. I have been using this for quite some time and I love how it looks. Honestly, I think it certainly looks the best after initial application. However, as I get oily through the day, it is nothing that a bit of powder cannot fix. My go to use for this KVD Good Apple Foundation is for days when I am short on time. I know that within no time, all imperfections will be covered and my skin will look amazing!
I hope that you guys liked this blog post and learning a little more about the KVD Good Apple Foundation. As you can see from this review, I love this foundation, but only at certain times. I love the coverage and it looks amazing on the skin. However, I have to make sure that I am prepping my skin and powdering through the day.
I do however think that I will keep one of these in my collection for a long time. For me, this is the easiest and quickest foundation for me to apply. As always, I will pop a link to this item down below in case you would like to check it out. Please do leave me a comment below. Let me know if you have tried this product, what you thought about and if you plan on trying it out.
