favourite eye palettes

It is time for a new post, and this is all about my favourite eye palettes. I have spoken here on my blog before about my love/hate relationship that I have when it comes to eyeshadow. As much as I love makeup in general, I just cannot be bothered with eyeshadow. For as many years as I can remember I have watched YouTube videos of elaborate eye looks. Not once have I ever gone away and recreated it for myself. For that reason, my favourite eye palettes are all products that are quick and easy to use. There is no faffing around with any of these items and I can get my look up and on my face in no time at all.

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill

The first item that I am going to mention in this blog post is a palette by Morphe. Before branching out and trying this palette, I mainly stuck to MAC eyeshadows. However, they seemed to dry out to chalk really quickly and I was ready to try something new. I decided that I would try Morphe because the whole internet was talking about it. I went for the Jaclyn Hill Volume 1 palette. Not because of the connection to Jaclyn, because I am not really a fan, but just because the shade range seemed good for the money and a wonderful selection. I have used this more than I care to mention and some of the shades I have used every single scrap of product from the pan!

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette

This is one of the first item that I ever tried by Charlotte Tilbury and I still adore it. I am a sucker for a small palette like this which has a look in one small item. The four shades in this Dolce Vita palette are just to die for. I feel like this is the kind of palette that I reach for when I want to bring a little something more special to my standard kind of eyeshadow look. The red tone is a great peak of colour through the crease. Not to mention that the gold topper when applied with your finger looks amazing and so incredibly reflective. I use this so much and I have had this same palette for many years and it still works as good as new. An amazing item that I think I will always keep in my collection.

Vieve Essentials Palette

This is the first influencer palette that I am going to mention in this post. When Jamie Genevieve first announced that she was going to create her own line of makeup, I knew that it would be a winner for my. I have watched Jamie for many years and I really do feel like our makeup styles are very aligned. That is probably the main reason why I have consumed her content for such a long time. Anyway, as soon as I saw her palette, I knew it had to be mine. Not just because of the fantastic shade range, but because for me this palette really is a one stop shop. You have a beautiful black, which many palettes don’t contain. Not to mention a couple discreet pops of colour that even somebody like me would wear!

Makeup By Mario Neutrals Palette

From the moment that I first saw this online, I knew it was going to be mine. I heard Mario promoting these palettes, speaking about how they were matched to the veins and undertones. Within a second, I was sold and I picked up the neutral palette without a second thought. Not to mention that the colour palette jus spoke to me. Usually in a palette like this you get at least one shade that you are not a fan of. That is not the case at all with this item. Every single colour works for me and looks amazing on the eyes. If I am travelling or doing my makeup anywhere other than my dressing room, this is the palette that I am going to be taking with me. A stunning item that I plan on using for many years to come!

Artist Couture Supreme Nudes Palette

Generally speaking, I tend to stay away from influencer brands. I don’t know why that is. To be honest, I think it could be down to the fact that the market is so saturated at the moment, I don’t know where to turn. Plus, if I am going to buy something from an influencer, I want it to be one that I watch and support. A prime example of this would be Jamie Genevieve that I mentioned above. However, from the first time that I saw the Supreme Nudes palette by Mac Daddy, I knew that I was going to buy it. As the name suggests, this is a great collection of nudes. Everything about this blows me away from the shade range, to how they blend and how they sit on the eyelids.

I hope that you guys liked this blog post and finding out my favourite eye palettes. As I am sure you guys already know, all of tones in these palettes are very similar. I know what I like and I know what works for me. I need something quick that I can grab and run through the crease in absolutely no time at all. As always, I will pop some links to these items down below in case you would like to go ahead and check them out for yourself. Please do leave me a comment below. Let me know what some of your favourite eyeshadows are. I may have to branch out and try something new for myself. Something that I have not done in quite some time!
