It is time for a new beauty review and this time it is all about the It Cosmetics CC Serum. I think that this product has been around forever and a day. Many years ago, I was desperate to try it out. I was seeing people using it online and it always looked amazing on their skin. However, because in the name it includes ‘CC Serum’, I was very hesitant.
In my mind a CC Serum is something super lightweight and if my early memories were correct, quite oily. However, I was scrolling through the Cult Beauty website one day and I was only £10 away from free shipping. That little incentive of saving £3 on postage gave me the kick that I needed to buy this almost £30 product. Without further ado, here is my review on the It Cosmetics CC Serum.
The Packaging.
The first thing that I always talk about in my reviews is the packaging. I know that for some people, packaging doesn’t make that much difference, but it does for me. When I am paying a premium price, I want that to be reflected in the packaging. Obviously, this It Cosmetics CC Serum is a mid-range product and I think that the packaging perfectly reflects this. I would say that this packaging is designed for practicality rather than appearance, but I don’t hate that. I know that with this squeezy tube, I will be fine travelling without having a foundation explosion!

The Coverage.
Like I mentioned above, when I first saw this product, I thought that the coverage would be non-existent. I can remember many years ago getting one of the first Garnier CC Serums that came out and that is what I expected. The It Cosmetics CC Serum has a lovely medium coverage. In some places I have tried to build that up to a full coverage, but it didn’t work out. However, a medium coverage for me is great for an everyday basis. I have also sheered it out using a damp Beauty Blender occasionally to get a much lighter look. No matter how I apply, it always looks amazing.

The Formula.
One thing that did strike me straight away was that the It Cosmetics CC Serum is a very glowing base. I don’t know why but I just didn’t expect a CC serum to have this much of a glow. In my head, having oily skin, I correlate having glow with it being oily, but that isn’t the case. This is a beautifully smooth formula that goes on the skin wonderful and smooth. Compared to some of the other base products in my collection, this is amazing. It is lovely and lightweight, that is what I am looking for in a good base product.

How It Lasts on My Skin?
It is one thing having a very light and glowing formula, but that then needs to last well on the skin. I have said it before and I will say it again, I have very awkward skin. It can be oily one minute and then dry as a bone the next. It really does annoy the living daylights out of me, but it is what it is. However, I find that when I apply this product, pair it with some trusted other items, I am good to go. I never have to worry about this separating and getting overly oily. I have worn this before for 12 hours at a time and with minimal touch ups, it still looks amazing.

Would I Repurchase?
I think that as you guys can tell from this blog post, I will without a doubt be going ahead and repurchasing this item. Normally after using a product like this for a couple of months, I would already have another one of these lined up. However, this It Cosmetics CC Serum just seems to be lasting me forever and a day. I have used it near enough daily for many months and it is still going strong. I know that I will buy more and also purchase some additional shades to see me through all seasons of the year!
I hope that you guys liked this post and learning more about the It Cosmetics CC Serum. Like I mentioned above, I really do wish that I had gone ahead and picked this up sooner. I feel like it blends in and sits amazingly on the skin. My skin is actually looking better and better the longer I use this for. I really do not think that you can ask for more than that when it comes to a base product. As always, I would love to hear from you guys. Please do leave me a comment below and let me know what you think about this item. Or, if you haven’t tried it out yet, leave me a comment and let me know if you would like to try it!
