I know that this probably sounds incredibly lazy for somebody that likes beauty, but I have always slacked when it comes to eye makeup. For me, it is all about complexion and getting a smooth and perfected base. Beyond that, I’ve never really been that concerned with how anything else looks.

However, with saying that, there are a few eye makeup products that I have in my collection that I find myself reaching for hand over fist. In this post I am going to share with you those key items that I think are the best of the best.

Vieve Essentials Palette.

The first item that I am going to mention has to be the eyeshadow palette that I use on a daily basis. Don’t get me wrong, as much as I love every shade in this palette, for a day-to-day basis, I use two perhaps three shades. The reason why I love this is because it has a few special pressed pigment glitters that I can bust out on special occasions. Not to mention an absolutely fantastic black shade that is ever so pigmented.

Nars Climax Mascara.

For a long time, I argued whether or not high-end mascara were actually worth the money or not. I loved my standard Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and thought it worked just fine. I couldn’t see how a different product with a higher price tag could possibly be better. With that said, when I got a sample of this and tried it out, I realised the difference almost straight away. The volume that I get from the Nars Climax Mascara is unlike any other product that I have in my collection.

Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette.

The second item that I am going to mention in this post is undoubtedly similar to the Vieve Essentials Palette that I mentioned above. What I adore about this palette is how sleek, small and easy to store this is. When I am travelling, this is without a doubt the only product that I take with me. As a simple eye makeup lover, I very rarely go into shimmery or glitter shades anyway, so this all matte palette is all I could need.

Vieve Eye Wands.

For a long time, I wanted to get my hands on the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, however as I went to invest, I noticed that they only seemed to have shimmery shades in the collection. That is when I saw these from Vieve. I am pretty sure that I now own just about every shade that they have available, and I couldn’t be happier with them. It allows me to get my eyeshadow on and set in place, incredibly quickly. Plus, I never get any creasing with these items.

Rare Beauty Liquid Liner.

When I cast my mind back, I used to wear black liquid eyeliner every single day. For me now, it is just a special occasion thing that I reach for every now and again. With that said, I am rather particular about the liners that I use. I need a certain nib, I need it to feel smooth to apply and I despise it when they dry out quickly. For me, this Rare Beauty ticks all of the boxes that I need and for that reason it is the only liner that I now have in my collection.

YSL Lash Clash Mascara.

The second mascara that I am going to mention in this post differs slightly to the Nars Climax that I mentioned above. For me, this is a mascara that is all about lengthening the lashes rather than the Climax which is primarily for volume. Them days where I want to feel like I am nothing but lashes, this is the mascara that I need to reach for. It is just an easy, fail-safe product that I know I can rely on. No smudging, no budging and no flaking.

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learning more about some of my favourite eye beauty items. These are all products that I find incredibly easy to use and they sit really well on the skin. For me, every single item that I have mentioned in this post are amazing and truly worth the money.

Where possible, I will add a link to the items that I have mentioned below. Be sure to leave me a comment. Let me know what you think about the line up. If there are any other products that you think I should add to my collection, drop me a line below!
