It is time for a new beauty blog post and today I am going to be talking to you all about the Dior Forever Skin Sculpting Stick. When I first saw this launch a few months ago, it had my name all over it. However, at the time I was trying to use up all of my cream contour items, and I couldn’t justify adding another one.

That feeling lasted a couple of days and then I found myself on the Sephora website checking out with the new item. After putting it through its paces for a few months, here are my thoughts on the Dior Forever Skin Sculpting Stick.

 

 

Why I wanted this item.

As I mentioned above, I really wanted this product from the first moment that I saw it. However, I have recently had an epiphany where I realised that my makeup collection was absolutely insane. I didn’t want to add another item to my roster until I removed one or used something up completely. With that said, my resilience to stick to my own rules only lasted a few moments and I picked this up far too quickly.

 

How I use this item.

Just like with any other cream contour/bronzer that I have in my collection; I use this by scrawling it directly onto my skin. I have never been the kind to try and pick a product like this and go in lightly. Straight from the stick and onto the skin works best for me. Once I have this item in place, I take my dense buffing brush and very lightly work it into the skin. Since trying this out, I have used it endlessly and worked it into the skin in many different ways and each and every time it looks wonderful.

 

How this sits and lasts on the skin.

There have been many products that I have fallen in love with over the years. However, if they don’t last all day long on my skin, they will be kicked to the curb. I need the makeup that I use to be applied first thing in the morning and last until around 8pm in the evening, at a minimum. Since I have been putting this through its paces, I have been getting some incredible longevity out of it. Not a single time has this failed and that is why I have endlessly reached for it more than any other cream bronzer/contour item.

 

How it pairs with my other base items.

Many times, I have shared with you my go to base products that I go back to time and time again. It includes the MAC Full Coverage, Hourglass Vanish Concealer and Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. I need whatever product I am adding into my collection to pair well with the key products that I use regularly. With that said, after putting this Dior Forever Skin Sculpting Stick through the ringer, I can confidently say that this performs absolutely fantastically and I have never had a makeup meltdown when pairing this with my old reliable items.

 

Would I repurchase this?

I am sure you guys can see from this post, I am completely smitten with this product. I love how it looks on the skin, it blends seamlessly, and it pairs well with all of my other favourite items. Many times, I have shared here on my site that I look for those products that look better and better as the day goes on. That is exactly what this product does. Without a doubt, I will be going ahead and repurchasing this when the time comes.
