As I am sure you guys know by now, I am a huge fan of Chanel. My love affair started when I was only young and I would sit cross-legged on my bedroom floor, cutting all of the Flap Bags out of my mother Vogue magazine and I would pin them up on my bedroom wall.

Growing up in a single-income household, I never thought that I would one day own a Chanel handbag for myself, never mind owning my own collection of amazing items. In this post, I am going to share with you the best of the best, that I constantly reach for.

I am sure that this is the case for other fashion lovers out there, but it was the Classic Double Flap that stole my heart many years ago. I saved like crazy to invest in this item and I am so glad that I was able to get my hands on this classic item before the price reached the astronomical price that they are today. I have wore this handbag so much and I know that my future contains many outfits where this handbag it a focal point. I do wish that I perhaps got a smaller version because the Jumbo size is rather large as the name would suggest, but I am still so glad that I got my hands on this beautiful item.

When I first fell in love with Chanel, I never thought that I would own a tweed piece. For two reasons mainly. The first was that as a child, I thought that the tweed was rather old school, but secondly because if I could only afford one Chanel piece, it was going to be the classic leather. However, when shopping in Selfridges one day, I was shown a beautiful small flap bag in their iconic tweed. It was love at first sight. This is a timeless handbag and I have to admit that out of every item that I am going to mention, this is the most own Chanel in my collection.

when I first saw the mini vanity handbags doing the rounds online, I thought they were ridiculous. They then got underneath my skin. They played on my mind until I was on the train to London and getting the tube to Bond Street. I am now the proud owner of a ridiculous Chanel Mini Vanity that can only hold a Tic Tac. The amount of comments that I get on this handbag is vast and they are completely justified, but I simply adore the teeny tiny handbag.

When the 19 handbag was first released, I have to admit that it wasn’t love at first site. However after seeing the bag in person, I realised that I had possibly seen shapes and colours which didn’t appeal to me. In store, I tried on a small, black leather handbag and I was in love. I think the reason why I fell in love with this is because I wanted another smaller handbag which was easier to carry around then my Jumbo Double Flap bag, plus I like that it is that little bit more edgy than the classic handbags that I also own.

 

Chanel pink tweed flap bag.

after falling in love with my first tweed handbag, I knew that I had to add another to my collection. When I was pregnant and didn’t actually know the sex of my baby, i got in touch with my sales associate at Chanel and asked her to send me some picture of a blue tweed bag and a pink tweed bag. Don’t shoot me for the standard gender stereotypes. Anyway, I should have got the blue because I had a little boy, but the pink stole my heart and I have been the proud owner now for a few months. Whenever anybody looks at my collection, this is without a doubt one of my most complimented items.

 

As alway, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learning more about some of my favourite Chanel handbags from my collection. At the moment, I am unsure of whether or not my Chanel collection will expand. I am happy with the items that I own, plus the price increases which have spoken about before, are growing crazy for items which aren’t increasing in quality.
