Travelling is something that I am so fortunate to be able to do and I honestly count my lucky stars every single time I get to tick somewhere of my travel bucket list. Ever since the outbreak of coronavirus in 2020, our travel plans have been on hold mainly because I was far too nervous to step foot on a plane in case I got stranded in another country.
I plan on making sure that I rectify that throughout 2021 and I thought that I would share with you some of the places that I still have left on my travel bucket list that I am hoping to travel to sometime in the near future!
New Zealand
It isn’t very often that I see a place and just want to go there for no apparent reason, but that is how I feel when it comes to New Zealand. I think just the fact that it is such a small place, with beautiful coastlines, a whole array of seasons and what seems to be some of the friendliest people. This is a hike from where I am in the UK, but it is one of the main places that I want to tick from my bucket list before we start a family and it is too far to travel with a little one!

South Africa
Since I was a young girl, South Africa has always been on my travel wishlist and do the whole safari experience but two things have stood in my way. The first thing is budget. I don’t want to travel to an amazing place and be restricted by cash, I want to be flush and do all of the things that I want to do. The second is my deep-rooted fear of spiders. The first of my two concerns I am now covered with, however, my phobia is going to take some adjusting before I hop on a plane!

Hawaii
Believe it or not, following our 2019 wedding, we have never had a proper honeymoon. Due to getting the keys to our new house and then COVID hitting and messing everything up. We are thinking about making the journey to Hawaii for two weeks of fun with blistering sunshine. There will be activities and an amazing all-inclusive package. Just dreading the crazy long flight from the UK!

Canada
Even though I have just harped on about Hawaii. I feel like I am not really a beach holiday kind of person. I love my breaks to be full of nature and seeing new perspectives. That is why the next place on my travel wishlist is Canada. I have a friend over there who is always trying to get me to go. I think it might be time to take her up on the offer!

Iceland
So many people from the UK go to Iceland because it is only a couple of hours’ flight. I have a deep love for the night sky and I would love to be surrounded by nature. Watching a crisp and clear night sky with all of the stars in all of their glory. Hopefully soon. But I have been advised that it is super expensive if you opt for all of the experiences!
I hope that you guys liked this blog post about the places on my travel wishlist. As much as I love to save money and have something for a rainy day. I will always invest in travelling because I think that nothing compares it really broadening your mind. Meeting different people and different cultures is so important. I will write a blog post in the coming weeks about some of the places that I have been. Also, why I loved them so much.
Make sure to leave me a comment down below. Let me know about some of the places on your travel bucket list and why you want to go there!
