If you are a makeup lover like me, you will be familiar with Pat McGrath. I was first introduced to her from a very young age. As a child that was makeup and Vogue obsessed, I would see the name Pat McGrath all everywhere. Only as I got older, did I realise how much of an artist and visionary she was.
Pat McGrath got a name for herself within the beauty space, long before the term influencer was even coined. That is some achievement. So, when I saw that this amazing woman had launched her own brand, I had to try it out. Today I am going to be sharing with you my review on the Pat McGrath complexion products. I am somewhat obsessed with complexion products in general because of how transformative they can be. The bar was set very high for these products.
Why I wanted these products.
As I mentioned, the main reasons why I wanted these products is because I am a fan of Pat McGrath. I love to support people that are passionate, and I have always loved what Pat McGrath creates. Plus, I was growing increasingly tired of the generic new releases that other makeup brands kept pumping out. I could see the innovation and creative thinking behind Pat McGrath Labs, and I was fully onboard. Plus, I love to share the best products with you guys and from other reviews that I could see, I needed to get my hands on it and find out for myself what it was like.

The Sublime Perfection Foundation.
The first product that I am going to mention in this post is the Sublime Perfection Foundation. This was the first item that I tried by Pat McGrath and the one that made me want to try more. The reason why I love this is because it ticks all of the boxes on my list of requirements for a foundation. It has a lovely and thin consistency. It applies to the skin smoothly with fingers, brush or sponge. The coverage is medium and buildable. The shade range is fantastic. And finally, it lasts on the skin all day long and looks better and better as time goes on.

The Skin Fetish Concealer.
As much as I wanted to try the Skin Fetish Concealer, I didn’t particularly rush into it. I had other concealers in my collection that I really liked that I believed did a fantastic job. For example, the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Tarte Shape Tape. However, after switching to the Pat McGrath concealer, I can see what I was missing. What this concealer offers that other do not is hydration. The key to a flawless makeup application is always hydration and this has that. It has great coverage and hides my darkness even on the sleepiest of days. Plus, it makes the areas under my eyes look flawless, smooth and the product looks like it is airbrushed.

The Sublime Perfection Blurring Undereye Powder.
The final product that I am going to mention is the Sublime Perfection Blurring Undereye Powder. I wanted to pick this up after noticing my Laura Mercier settling into my fine lines. I take this onto a small powder puff and then I pat it into the skin underneath my eyes to set my concealer. Firstly, this locks all of my creams and liquids into place flawlessly. Secondly, as the name suggests, this does blur the area. It helps to disguise the look of my fine lines. Plus, it blurs the look of my pores and helps to brighten the area.

My final thoughts.
As I am sure you guys can already tell, I adore these Pat McGrath products. They are amazing quality and work wonders. I have worn them all together and paired them with my other favourite items. No matter what I seem to throw at these products, they just work. Not only that, but they make my skin look like something that you would see inside a glossy magazine. I was sceptical to begin with. Sometimes when influential people start their brands, it can be a case of simply putting their name to something. However, it is abundantly clear the creative input that Pat McGrath has on these items.
As always, I hope that you guys enjoyed this review. Pat McGrath is an incredible woman, and her brand is exquisite. I always look forward to using these items and they look amazing on the skin. For years I have been wearing and using these items and they have never let me down. They are the kind of product that looks better the longer that it is on your skin and that is a wonderful thing. Don’t get me wrong, the price tag is high but to me, they are worth every single penny. If you guys would like to check these items out, I will add a link below. Please do leave me a comment below. Let me know if you have tried any Pat McGrath base products and what your views were.
