Over the next couple of months, I’ve set myself a new goal for the blog: more roundup posts. I love writing individual reviews, but sometimes it’s nice to pull everything together and spotlight the brands that never let me down. As you already know, I’m a shameless beauty obsessive. I’ve tried more products than my bank account would ever like to discuss, and even I get overwhelmed by the never-ending stream of new brands launching every five minutes.
So today, I’m slowing things down and focusing on the beauty brands that have consistently delivered for me—those rare gems I return to time and time again because I know their products are going to perform flawlessly.

Charlotte Tilbury
If you’ve been here longer than five minutes, this will shock absolutely no one. Charlotte Tilbury has owned a huge portion of my beauty heart since the brand first launched. Everything about it—the packaging, the quality, the formulas—feels luxe. I reach for her products almost every day because they simply work.
The Magic Cream is still one of the best moisturisers I’ve ever used under makeup, and the Airbrush Bronzer is so perfectly smooth and flattering that I’ve basically become a walking advert for it. When a brand keeps producing staples that you panic-buy backups of… that’s how you know it’s elite.

Dior
When Dior launched their Backstage line, I knew immediately that my bank balance was in danger. Years later, here I am, still obsessed. The entire range feels like it was made with professional makeup artists in mind: high performance, reliable formulas, and colours that work in real life—not just in Instagram lighting.
The Backstage Foundation remains one of my top everyday bases, and the contour palette is one of the few I’ve hit pan on repeatedly. For me, it doesn’t get much better than products that perform beautifully no matter how rushed, tired or chaotic my morning happens to be.

NARS
NARS will always have a core place in my makeup collection. My first love was Sheer Glow nearly a decade ago, and it set the standard for what I expect from base products. Their foundations always strike that perfect balance between coverage, longevity and comfort, and without fail, I get compliments on my skin whenever I’m wearing one.
Beyond the bases, NARS also produces some of my favourite cheek and eye products. Their Climax Mascara is a firm favourite because it gives fluttery volume without clumping—a rare skill, apparently.

MAC
Call me nostalgic, but MAC still holds a special place in my beauty routine. I grew up on this brand, and even though I’ve drifted away from some of their older launches, several products continue to outperform modern alternatives. Their Mineralize Skinfinishes are legendary for a reason, and the Full Coverage Foundation is a staple that has survived more of my makeup declutters than I’d ever like to admit.
It’s easy to overlook longstanding brands in favour of the shiny new launches, but MAC continues to prove why they’ve been an industry giant for decades.

Final Thoughts
I hope you enjoyed this little roundup of my favourite beauty brands. These are the names I trust implicitly—the ones I repurchase, recommend and rely on when I want my makeup to look flawless without fail. Some of these products have been in my routine for years, which I think says more than any advertising campaign ever could.
I’d love to hear from you: which beauty brands have earned a permanent spot in your collection? Let me know in the comments. I’ll also leave links to some of the products mentioned in case you want to explore them further.
