You guys should already know by now that when there is a new brow product on the market, I have to try it. Which is why when the Benefit Fluff Up Brows came out, it was a no brainer that I was going to get my hands on it.
Benefit have been known for their brow products for so many years. Many of which I have loved and had in my collection over the years. So, after using it and putting it through its paces, I am ready to share my thoughts. Especially after trying out so many different brow products over the years!
Â
Why I wanted this item.
The main reason why I wanted this Benefit brow product was just to see how it truly performed. The market is full of brow release after brow release. There cannot be that much that sets them apart and for that reason, I wanted to put it through its paces. Is it really deserved of the price tag? Is it as good as other products in the same realm? But more than anything else, I have loved Benefit brow products for a long time and I want to see if this is just as good as the rest of the range.
Â
How I use this item.
I use this Benefit Fluff Up just before I start on my eye makeup. The same as I normally do with other similar brow products. I will apply this through my thick brow hairs to lay them into the position that I want them to lay in. Then, while the product dries down I will continue with the rest of my eye makeup, allowing the product plenty of time to set. It is the same method that I do with my other favourite items that I have been hooked on recently.
Â
What it does to my brows.
Initially after using this brow product, I do feel like it positions my brows where I want them. However, I don’t feel like it has amazing hold. I can use this to slick the brows and lay them down. But them when I use my NYX Brow Pen or Dior Brow Styler, as I apply the product, my brow hairs will move. If you are going for a laminated or lifted brow look, this will always be the last thing that you want. The idea is for them to stay where you placed them.
Â
How it compares to other items.
When I think about the brow products that I have loved over the last year, I think of the likes of the Anastasia Brow Freeze, Refy Brow Sculpt and the NYX Brow Glue. All of these products are designed to slick the brows and lock them into position. When I think about the purpose of this Benefit Fluff Up, I do use it in the same method, and it achieves a similar look. But it doesn’t feel quite as firm as those other brow items.
Â
Would I recommend this?
I think ultimately, I don’t know if I would recommend this. It is a good product; my brows look nice after using it. But ultimately, I think there are other similar items that perform the same, if not better. I feel like this is Benefits brow product to try and compete with the likes of Refy and Anastasia, but to me it just feels like the market is over saturated with similar items.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post on the Benefit Fluff Up Brow Product. For me, this was a nice brow product. Nothing revolutionary. Yet overall, it was a well performing product. I think with how many brow products are hitting the market at the moment, we are overwhelmed with the quantity of them. None of them at this point are really changing the game. I will certainly continue to use this Benefit Fluff Up Brows, but I’m still undecided if I would rush out to repurchase this when it is finished. I will pop a link to this item below if you guys would like to check this out. Leave me your thoughts on this item below.
