Earlier today, I began to write a post about my thoughts on the cottage core trend which is circling the internet at the moment. As I was writing, I began to recognise how negative I was being. Not to mention that it was probably obvious which influencers I was talking about. To be honest, I would write forever and a day about the cottage core style trend and this new middle-aged way of dressing. But instead of being positive, I want to do something positive. Which is why today I am going to share with you guys some of my favourite fashion influencers and why I love them so much.
Victoria McGrath.
To me, Victoria is the ultimate fashion blogger. Especially when I think about the UK blogger scene, she is without a doubt my favourite. Her style is well put together, fun, individual and so much more. She is a special person, that comes across absolutely fantastically online. There are few people when I see them hitting their goals that I am nothing but joyous for them, but with Victoria I absolutely am. Not to mention that I base so many of my looks on hers!

Sammi Jefcoate.
Gothic girl meets fashion queen when it comes to Sammi Jefcoate. Watch her TikTok’s, just do it. She always wears next to nothing, latex, leather, lingerie and little else. Oh, except for the harnesses of course. I fell in love with her such daring and out their styles. I think she really awoken me to how different and individual style can be. She obviously doesn’t give two fucks what people think about her dress sense and I needed to see that.

Audrey Peters.
When I think about fun fashion, Audrey comes to mind. All of a sudden, she has made me fall in love with colour. Something that I thought would never happen for me. Not to mention her designer closet is true goals. If you guys want to see what some truly fun and amazing outfits look like, please check out her Instagram. Whenever she uploads, I always love to see the daring outfits that I could never wear. But that I can appreciate.

Sincerely Jules.
If I want to look at somebody for more relaxed looks, I will look at Sincerely Jules. I think what Julia does perfectly is the cool girl, off-duty model kind of looks. My favourite thing about her looks is probably when she pairs up simple cargo pants with basic vest tops, sneakers and a cardigan over her shoulders. She is amazing at throwing together these incredibly simplistic looks that look so well put together.
Â
Alexa Chung.
Growing up as a teenager in the UK, Alexa Chung was my fashion icon. I can remember watching her in when she worked back on T4 and I was in love with her. For a very long time my life moto was, ‘What would Alexa Chung do?’. When I think of Alexa Chung’s fashion, I always think about her iconic Glastonbury looks from back in the day. The Barbour jackets, miniskirts and Hunter wellies. Iconic.

Morgan Stewart.
There is one person who makes me want to invest in The Row and that is of course Morgan Stewart. Her fashion is so elegant, simple and beautiful. The looks are so well polished, amazing to look at and even though you know so much must go into curating the outfits, they look so effortless. I even signed up to get her alerts on Instagram, that shows how much I adore this woman. I think she’s the first person I’ve ever done that for!
I hope that you guys enjoyed this post and getting to learn a little about my favourite fashion influencers. Even though I may not dress like the people that I have mentioned above, I adore to see then. Fashion is meant to be creative, expressive and fun. The reason why I love all of these people is because they have fun in their outfits. That isn’t to say that those people that have bought into this cottage core trend aren’t having fun, but they can appear pretty stuffy. For me, fashion should be fun. Each of the people that I’ve mentioned above show me different amazing aspects to fashion and looks. Make sure to share me with me some of your favourite fashion influencers below.
