It is time for a new beauty review and today I am going to share with you guys a review on the highly popular Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation. A couple of years ago when Lady Gaga first released her brand, there didn’t seem to be that much hype around the products. At the time, many different celebrities were releasing their brands and it just seemed to be another one on the list.

However, thanks to the likes of social media, Haus Labs seemed to have a few breakthrough products that hit the big time, including the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation. I had to pick it up for myself and in this post, I am going to share with you my thoughts.

 

 

Why I wanted this foundation.

Just as I mentioned above, the main reason why I wanted this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation was because the whole world seemed to be using it. When there is a product with so much hype around it, I like to test it to see if it really does live up to the hype. Sometimes a product can gain so much momentum that it ends up snowballing and I have found that a lot of the time, it is simply hype that isn’t justified.

 

The shade range.

As with many new foundations releases these days, this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation has a good mixture of shades in the range. I would say that there is around 40 different shades available with multiple undertones available. One thing that I do love is that when you look at the range, there are more beautiful deep shades with varying undertones than there are light tones. For me, that balance has often been out of kilter in the opposite direction and it is great to see rich shades getting the variation that it needs.

 

The coverage.

In all of the marketing materials and online listings for this product, it is clear that this is a medium coverage product. After putting this through its paces for some time, I can completely agree that this is a great medium coverage product. You can easily build this up to be a fuller coverage product in the areas where you have a little more to hide. For me, that is always what I want from my foundation. A great medium to full coverage foundation that hides everything that I need. That is what this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation offers.

 

The consistency.

For me, this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation has a great consistency. Just like the coverage, I would say that the consistency is very ‘medium’. By that I mean that this isn’t one end of the spectrum and incredibly watery that will move around on the skin. Likewise, this isn’t a super creamy item that almost smears onto the skin. This sits somewhere level on the spectrum and because of that I think it is a great consistency for an everyday foundation.

 

How this sits on the skin.

Once this is on place on my skin, I will go ahead and use all of my other makeup products over the top. That will consist of my concealer, cream bronzer, liquid blush, powder and then an array of finishing products. No matter what I have thrown at this foundation or the items that I try to pair with it, everything just works. As simple as that. This never breaks apart, moves, displaces or anything else that you simply don’t want when it comes to your base layer!

 

How it compares to other products.

When I think about the foundations in my collection, I compare this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation to some of my other big favourites. I am thinking along the lines of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation. In my opinion, this Haus Labs Foundation is well capable of standing alongside those products and even in many ways outshining them. I have loved using this and I don’t have a bad word to say about it in comparison to those long-term favourites.

 

Would I recommend this.

As I am sure you guys can tell from this glowing review, I would absolutely recommend this Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation. I had loved using this and it really does make a difference to the way that my complexion looks. Whenever I am speaking to somebody on the market for a new foundation, I would automatically go to this product without a shadow of a doubt. It is very highly regarded in my book.
