It is time for a new beauty round up, this time all about my favourite concealers. You probably don’t know this about me, because I never put it out there. But I have the worlds worst dark circles. I think that it is because of my olive complexion, but it just shows all of the purple tones in my skin so much more.

Because of this, I rely on concealers much more than your average Jo. Most mornings, even with the fullest coverage I have to use two layers just to hide them. I can remember once I went to my dad’s house, and he thought that my husband had punched me and that I had a black eye. It really does get that bad. So, here are my favourite concealers that help me tackle my darkness!

My Favourite Concealers

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer.

I am going to mention the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer first because it is my favourite. I can remember when this first came out, I never thought that it would replace my Shape Tape. That thing that I love about this Too Faced Born This Way Concealer is that it is hydrating. I have said it before and I will say it again, I am scared of aging. I especially think of aging around my eyes. So, when I use a lovely hydrating product like this to hide my darkness, I feel like I am doing something to benefit the area!

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer.

This is the only drugstore concealer that I am going to be mentioning in this blog post. As you may know, I am not a big fan of drugstore. I don’t know what it is, but the base products from drugstore have always let me down in some way. However, that is not the case with the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I have had this concealer in my collection now for many years and that is because it brightens, conceals and looks great on the skin. A wonderful and cheap all-rounder for me!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

This was the first high-end concealer that I ever bought, and I still love it to this day. The thing about this Nars Radiant Creamy is that it just blends in so wonderfully. Regardless of the base that I already have on, I know that the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is going to work like a dream. I use the standard shade ‘Custard’, that we all wore at one stage, and it is amazing for me and my complexion. But I am sure if you have read my blog previously, you will know that I am a sucker for Nars base products.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.

Don’t lose me with this one already, but I need to mention Tarte Shape Tape. I know that some people are very against this concealer. However, it is the brand at fault not the product. Would I ever buy anything else from Tarte? No, probably not after their fuck up the other year with the appalling shade range of their foundation. However, I can not shake the love that I have for this concealer. For somebody with dark circles like me, this is my go-to concealer for days when I need that heavy coverage!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer.

Last but by no means least is the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer. I actually only first tried this out on a whim. I wasn’t entirely interested in the concealer, more so the packaging. Not to mention that I had tried every other Charlotte Tilbury product in the range, so naturally I wanted to try out this concealer too. If it is a general day to day basis, where I want to add some coverage, but not completely hide everything, this is the product that I reach for. A stunning concealer that is great for mature skin.

I hope that you guys liked this blog post and learning about my favourite concealers. As I mentioned, these are all of my tried-and-true favourites. I know that whenever I go in with any of these items, my makeup is going to look great and my darkness covered. I just hope that one day they come out with a magical solution that can irradicate undereye darkness. Honestly, I think I would sell my soul for something like that.

As always, I will pop a link down below to these items if you would like to check them out for yourself. Please do leave me a comment below. Let me know some of your favourite concealers and I will have to go ahead and check them out for myself!
