Today, I am going to be speaking to you guys all about the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. If you guys are makeup lovers like myself, I am sure you will know all about this product. This is an item that has been on the market for as long as I can remember. I believe it was the beauty influencer Lauren Curtis that put me onto this product almost 15 years ago.
As much as I always wanted this item, it was one of those products that I simply never picked up. However, a while back, when my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream ran out, I decided to give it a try. I have not looked back since. I feel like with the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, I have found a product for live. Which is why I want to write this review for you today.
Why I wanted this item.
As I mentioned, the main reason why I wanted this item is because I was heavily influenced. I have been seeing this Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base all over the internet for well over a decade. Plus, more recently I have been seeing other brands almost fully ripping off this product, so I wanted to see what the original item was like. Plus, this is generally one of those cult classic beauty items, so I always want to give them a try for myself!

How it applies.
The thing that really stands out to me about the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is how it applies and makes my skin feel. One thing that I am always cautious about is moisturiser balling up and disrupting other products in my skincare routine, but that isn’t the case with this product. It applies really well, looks seamless and works well with other products. I would say that this has move of a gel to cream texture, which I really enjoy.

The scent.
The first thing that really shocked me about the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base when I first started using it was the scent. Because I am so cautious with my skin, I do tend to stay away from products that have such a high fragrance to them. I do however like the smell of this item. It reminds me of a lemony sugary kind of scent, which I find really sweet and pretty light. It did make me dubious about using it, but I have to say that it has not been anything short of amazing. I have not broken out and it has been a smooth transition.
Â
How it compares to similar items.
As I mentioned above, I picked this up after running out of my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. If you have been around for a while, you will know that I have been die hard for the Magic Cream for such a long time. I do feel like the two are pretty different, but I don’t find that a negative. For me, I would use the Charlotte Tilbury on winter days when my skin really needs the intense hydration. That cream leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and plump. Whereas the Bobbi Brown gives a layer of hydration without it feeling too heavy, making it perfect for me on an everyday basis.

Would I repurchase?
As I am sure you guys can already tell from this post, I will be repurchasing. At this stage, I am honestly kicking myself that I didn’t go ahead and pick this item up sooner. It has done wonderful things for my skin. Not to mention that with makeup, this makes my skin look hydrated and completely poreless. I really do look forward to reaching for this and using it each morning. If you guys are looking for a new moisturiser, I cannot recommend this any higher. A truly stunning item. There is an obvious reason why this is a cult classic item!
As always, I hope you enjoyed this post on the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. As I mentioned, this is an item that I have fallen in love with recently. As much as I do love my old faithful Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, I am loving how this Bobbi Brown makes my skin feel, especially under makeup. I even have a spare Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base waiting in the wings so that I don’t have to be without this for a single day. I would love to hear from you guys in the comments. Have you tried this item for yourself? If so, please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts. I will also pop a link below to this item in case you would like to try it for yourself.
