Today’s blog post is going to be a round up on my favourite items by a brand. Not just any brand either, today it is going to be all about Charlotte Tilbury. If you have read my blog for some time, you will know that I used to be die hard for Charlotte Tilbury. Back in the day, when I first started my blog, I would buy everything. No matter what it was, even if I didn’t think it would work, I would purchase it.
The brand then quickly began releasing makeup quicker than I could earn money. I had to draw a line and support the brand from a distance. Don’t get me wrong, I still buy things from the brand every now and again, but nothing like in the early days. I thought for this post, I would round up some of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
I am going to start my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products post, by talking about my all-time favourite item. When I first saw this on her website many years ago, I wanted to try it. The only thing that put me off was the price tag. In my late teenage years, there was no way that I could justify spending £70 on a moisturiser. Nowadays I understand the importance of looking after my skin and I more or less bathe in this stuff. This has really helped to regulate my skin and I am no longer overly oily. My dark patches have reduced. Not to mention my skin just looks so much brighter than it did before!
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow.
This was the first ever product that I tried from Charlotte Tilbury all of those years ago and I still love this just as much now as I did back then. The reason why I wanted this was because I simply needed to add a new primer to my routine. For far too long I had been using the Benefit Porefessional and I just wanted to switch things up. Low and behold, this Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow has now been a fixed item in my routine for almost a decade. A great all rounder and one that I recommend to so many people.
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter.
For a long time, I tried to resist the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. The only reason why I decided to go ahead and try this was because of all of the inspiration from others wearing it online. Whereas I used the Wonder Glow as a base product to illuminate underneath foundation, this looked like a much more versatile item. I really love to wear this Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter when I am opting not to wear foundation. It balances my skin colour because my face is always 10 shades lighter, it adds a radiance and it gently blurs the skin!
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Foundation.
Onto a product that I know so many people love and that is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Foundation. When this was released, I was desperate to try it because the previous Light Wonder foundation simply wasn’t enough for me. The thing that I really adore about this foundation is how much it covers my skin. When I wear this, every single one of my imperfections is gone and I look like a porcelain doll. It isn’t that I want that much coverage, but it is great that I have a product for when I do want that much!
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer.
This is a product by Charlotte Tilbury that I adore and hate all at the same time. Firstly, I want to say that I love this item because it really is a great product to work with. Not only that, but it hides my dark circles flawlessly. However, my only issue with this item is the packaging. Once the sponge tip gets saturated with product, it is almost impossible to get the cap on or off. I think after only using this three times, I was having to reach for a pair of pliers whenever I wanted to use it again. A pain in the arse and I am assuming and easy fix!
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand.
For a very long time, I stayed away from this item. I had heard really mixed reviews about this online and I decided to stay away. Plus, I tend to contour with creams more than liquids. However, I was sent this by the brand, and it changed my mind completely. This is one of those products that just takes all of the effort away from applying makeup. No matter what, this glides on the skin like silk and blends out without disturbing my base products underneath. A winner in my book and I always make sure that I have one in my collection.
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow.
This is most certainly one of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products. I am sure if you are a fan of the brand, you will have seen this product many times before. To begin with, I was unsure if this would work for me and my medium skintone, but this is just stunning. The contour is cool, but not too cool that it looks ashy on my medium skin. Then the highlighter really is what makes this special. The highlighter is a buttery powder which is so easy to work with and it sits more perfect than anything I have seen before.
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush.
I have said it before here on my blog, but I have never really been a big fan of blush. The honest reason for purchasing this Charlotte Tilbury blush was because I had seen it all over. People were calling this ‘the nipple’ blush because of the shape of the product and I needed to try it out. This is the blusher that made me fall in love with blush as an entire category. The consistency of these blushes is so stunning. It never fails to blend, and it always looks seamless on the skin. I love that you also get two shades in one pan!
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette.
One thing that I do always adore by Charlotte Tilbury is the eyeshadow palettes that she puts together. She shades are always so beautiful and have been put together in such a stunning way. You can tell that such a high level of care and attention is put into each colour palette. Not to mention the consistency and finish of each of them. I own around 6 of these now. Some of the larger ones with 12 shades in and then the smaller quads. I find myself reaching for the smaller ones more often, simply because they are cultivated looks in a palette.
Â
Charlotte Tilbury Eyebrow Products.
I grouped all of these items together because there are quite a few that I love. This blog post is already incredibly long, so I thought that I would make this much simpler. The two brow products that really stand out to me are Brow Lift pencil and the Supermodel Brow Gel. They are simple products that do the job incredibly well. They aren’t fad products, and they are just so easy to use. They take next to no effort and my brows are on and in place in no time at all. Well worth the money in my humble opinion.
I hope that you guys enjoyed this blog post and learning about some of my favourite items. These are all true favourites of mine and I always look forward to using them. Even though I really do think that Charlotte Tilbury in general needs to slow down with the product launches, she can smash it out of the park. Some of these items, like the Magic Cream for example have changed my skin and I adore that. If I am ever looking for a specific new item to add to my collection, I will not think twice about opting for Charlotte Tilbury. I hope that you enjoyed reading about my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products. As always, I will pop a link to these items below in case you would like to check them out for yourself.
