It is time for a new beauty review here on my little space on the internet and I thought that today I would write you a review on the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in the shade Bette. I can remember many years back when Charlotte Tilbury started releasing new makeup products, I think I bought everything in her range, which is why when it these cream eyeshadows were released, it was only natural that I went ahead and picked these up for myself.
Needless to say, that similarly to the rest of the products that I tried by Charlotte Tilbury, I fell in love with these and I have been using it ever since, which is why I wanted to let you guys know all about it and why I think you should go ahead and try it out for yourself.
Why I bought this?
I mentioned above that I went ahead and bought this item because I had picked up everything else by Charlotte Tilbury. Which is true. But also because I wanted to look into products to help me get a much more natural and light makeup look. Not to mention that I had tried out so many other products by Charlotte Tilbury. Every single one has been absolutely fantastic, which is why I didn’t even hesitate when it came to picking up this item. Also, because I had been using the Laura Mercier Caviar stick for quite a while and as great as I thought it was at the time, I did find it to be a little drying on my eyelids throughout the day, which is why I wanted to get some new items to switch it up a little!

What the shade is like?
I have said it before and I will say it again, but I am a lover of all things neutral and that is why I went ahead and bought this Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in the shade Bette. This is a lovely brown shade, which has golden flecks running through it. The main thing that I love about this product is that it is a super versatile product which can be applied in many different ways. You can pack it onto the eyelid and get a super opaque shade, you can top your existing eyeshadow colour in order to get a little sparkle or you can buff it in with a fluffy brush to get a lovely and light wash of colour. I think that this shade in general really is my favourite and I have been using it now for many years.

How it applies?
The next thing that I want to mention in this review is how it applies to the eyelids. Whenever it comes to cream eyeshadows, I am always in two minds about whether it is best to apply with your finger or a synthetic brush to pack it on, but because I like a much more diffused and natural kind of look, my favourite things to do is to use my good old MAC 217 brush. I just load the product onto my brush, pack it onto my eyelid, then with whatever product is still remaining on my brush, I will blend that into my crease to help disperse the pigmentation for a lovely look. I find that it has just the right amount of moisture in the product to allow you to blend it in and work it out just right.

How it lasts?
The last thing that I want to talk about in this blog post is how it lasts on the eyelids. I have pretty oily eyelids. So even though eyeshadow does stay on my eyes pretty well. I find that sometimes there can be too much slip when it comes to cream eyeshadows. On a working day, I will apply this with my MAC 217 brush at around 6am in the morning. I find that when I remove my makeup at 10pm at night, the pigmentation is still there. Nothing looks out of place or has moved. For me, that makes this Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow more than worth the money. It makes me only want to use it more, which is absolutely amazing because I feel like I have found my holy grail item!
I hope that you guys liked this blog post and learning more about the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise. It really has been a wonderful addition to my makeup collection. I know that whenever I reach for this, my eyeshadow is going to look flawless. There are now quite a few shades in the range and after trying them all, Bette is my favourite. They all work absolutely flawlessly and I adore them. A fantastic product and if you are in the market for a cream eyeshadow, this is the product that you need. As always, I would love to hear from you guys. Please do leave me a comment down below. Let me know if you have tried this or what your other cream shadows are your favourite!
