Recently, I have been opting for a non-makeup makeup look. Mainly because I love how it looks, but also because time has become tight in the morning, and I don’t have the time to sit and leisurely apply my makeup. But in switching my routine up, I have had to invest in some new makeup products that can help me get the kind of look that I want to achieve.

Something that was more natural, glowing and perfecting to ensure that I can use less product and still get my desired look. In this post I am going to share with you my essential items for my no-makeup makeup look.

Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer.

The first item that I am going to mention is the truly iconic Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer. I have been using this for donkeys’ years and I have no intention on slowing down with it any time soon. Even on days when I opt for no makeup whatsoever, this is a product that I still reach for and use. The glow that this gives to the skin is completely unrivalled. Trust me, I have tried many other glowing primers or base products on the market and I don’t think that anything even comes close to this beautiful item!

It Cosmetics CC Serum.

This is a base product that I have had a love/hate relationship with over the years. Mainly because when I want to opt for full glam, this never has enough coverage. But at the moment when I want something lighter and more natural, I find that this is the most perfect product. It has a create level of coverage which isn’t too much or cakey on the skin. It applies, blends and sits like a dream. I have been buying this product for almost 10 years and I know that I will continue to for many more years to come.

Hourglass Cream Blusher.

This is the year of the blusher. To be honest, over the years I have shied away from blush and instead opted for bronzer. But, when I want a lighter makeup, I find that adding some colour back into the skin is key for brightening the skin and looking more awake. Out of all the cream blushes that I have in my range, it is the Hourglass Cream Blush that I adore and use countless times. Mainly because I love the stick form and how easy it is to apply. Plus, no matter how much you load this onto the skin, it never looks too much or too heavy.

Nars Cream Bronzer.

These last few years, more cream bronzers have been released than I care to mention. However, one of the ones that has really stuck in my mind is the wonderful Nars Cream Bronzer. I bought this and since adding it to my collection, I have not looked back. It applies beautifully, the shade is perfection, and it looks amazing on the skin. Not to mention when you are blending it into the skin, it happens within seconds. This product really adds that beautiful sun kissed look to the skin and that is what I always want when I am opting for a more minimal makeup.

Fenty Gloss Bomb.

Over the years I have learnt that matte lips just aren’t for me. The revelation happened just after I got my hands on the Fenty Gloss Bomb for the first time. What this product does for the lips is unlike anything that I have ever experienced before. The glow that it adds not only hydrates and makes the lips look plump, it adds a sheen that bounces the light and really captivates people. Since first picking this up, I have probably gone through 10 different tubes and I will never tire of it because of how simply stunning it looks.

Vieve Skin Dew.

The final item that I am going to mention is without a doubt one of the most stunning beauty items that I have ever purchased. I am of course talking about the Vieve Skin Dew. When this product was first released, I wasn’t that bothered. However, after getting a sample, I was head over heels in love. I apply just a very small amount of this to the high points of my cheeks. I find that it looks so much more beautiful than any highlighter ever has on my skin. It adds a sheen, a natural glow to the skin and honestly, it is pure perfection. I fucking adore this product!

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post about my essential items for a no-makeup makeup look. If you have visited my corner of the internet for some time, you will know that not all of these items are new. I shopped my stash and unsurprisingly, I already had many of the items that would work for my new makeup look.
