It is cold as shit at the moment, so I thought that I would cast my mind back to warmer climates. Over the last few years, I have been fortunate enough to visit some of the most breathtaking places in the world. My husband and I save meticulously so that we can travel as much as possible.

With that said, there are some beach destinations that we have been fortunate enough to visit, that have taken our breath away. In this post, I am going to share with you some of my favourite beach holidays breaks and why I loved them so much.

Ibiza.

On this site, you will have heard me bang on about Ibiza time after time. It is an amazing place and I love getting to head out to that tiny island. I have visited Ibiza at many different periods of my life for different reasons and I always fall more in love with the place. Needless to say, some of the beaches in Ibiza are truly out of this world and I can lay for hours endlessly on the beach. I get a good book, a cocktail or two and then I am good to go!

Maldives.

It is safe to say that some of the beaches in the Maldives are truly the best in the world. We went on our very belated honeymoon after the pandemic, and I can see why people from all around the world flock there. As a person that very rarely switches off, I fell in love with the beaches of the Maldives because they were so peaceful and serene. As you lay there, it barely feels like the sea is loving because everything is simply still.

Byron Bay.

Visiting Australia will always be a standout moment in my life. I feel incredibly fortunate once again that I was able to visit when we did our brief tour of Australia. And I say brief, because I know that we didn’t even scratch the surface on what Australia has to offer. However, the time we spent in Byron Bay will forever stay with me. It truly is one of the most breathtaking places I have ever visited and I long to go back there. In another life, I would live there!

South of France.

As a kid, we would drive down to the South of France. I think at the time, my dad thought it was cheaper to drive there then to buy 4 plane tickets, but I’m not entirely sure his logic was correct there. Regardless, after falling in love at a young age, it became a place that I hold very dear. Even now, my husband regularly goes to the South of France because it has everything that you need. There are more built-up areas with things to do, but also the more zen beaches that are built for relaxing.

Hamptons.

On my first visit to the Hamptons, I can remember feeling like I had been transported to a new world. A world that I had seen in countless movies and TV shows. It is an iconic part of the world and I instantly fell in love. On both occasions when I have visited, I have spent time in Montauk, and I don’t think that I have ever felt so relaxed. That comes down to the beautiful beaches where you can sit and watch the waves crash all day long.

Goa.

When I was a kid, I used to go to India on a yearly basis with my dad. He would get a really cheap deal on an apartment, and we would stay there for the best part of a month. It was an experience to say the last because it was as far from luxury as you can get. However, as I look back, I realise how incredibly fortunate I was to get to experience the beaches of Goa and relax on them for weeks on end. Don’t get me wrong, there were many drawbacks about India, but the beaches are exquisite.

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learning more about some of my favourite beach breaks. I feel so lucky living here in the UK that there are so many places a quick flight away. The UK may be shit for the vast majority of things, but its central location really is something special. As I mentioned above, I know that I am incredibly lucky for getting to visit these destinations. It will never be lost on me. As always, I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below. Let me know some of your favourite beach destinations.
