It is time for a new beauty post, and it is going to be all about foundations. As you guys will probably know by now, I adore makeup. I always have and I always will. Makeup is such a transformative product and the best item for me is without a doubt foundation. Even though my skin is relatively clear, I do have problem areas, specifically on my cheeks where I have pigmentation damage.
Because of that, I like to opt for foundations which have a higher level of coverage. I will then either sheer out the product or pack on the coverage depending on where I am applying it to my face. In this post, I am going to have sharing with you guys my 5 favourite high coverage foundations. These are the best of the best, that I always ensure I have in my collection.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Foundation.
The first product that I am going to mention is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Foundation. When I first applied this, I never thought that it would be quite as full coverage as it is. I think because you see the makeup looks that the brands creates as quite ethereal and airy. This is a product with an intense level of coverage. However, I have learnt that with applying this well, it always looks great. This item really does tick all of the boxes in my opinion. The coverage, longevity, the shade range, how it feels, etc.

KVD Good Apple Foundation.
When this KVD Beauty foundation came out the other year, it took TikTok by storm. For a long time, I tried to stay away from it. However, out of curiosity, I had to pick it up for myself. The thing that I really love about this product is that has amazing coverage. However, the thing that sets this product apart from the rest is that not only is it high coverage, it is also hydrating on the skin. Which is something usually compromised from a full coverage product. I will say that the staying power isn’t quite as long as some of the other products, but still one of my favourite high coverage foundations.

MAC Full Coverage Foundation.
After all of this time, I do not understand how people are still sleeping on this product. I fell in love with this item after the wonderful Wayne Goss used to talk about it all of the time. This small compact of product is wonderful. It is designed for professional makeup, and it does a fantastic job. Depending on how this is applied, it can either be rather sheer, or built up to be ultimate coverage. I have used this for 15 years or more and I love it. I simply hope that they don’t discontinue it because I would be lost without this item!

Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation.
It took me quite some time to fall in love with the Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation. If you have read my blog for some time, I am sure you will know that I used to be ride or die for the Nars All Day Luminous Foundation. However, when they discontinued that product, I had to adapt. The main thing that I love about the Nars Radiant Longwear is that it has amazing staying power, the shade range is fantastic, and it covers with ease. With this item, I never need to pack on product or go in with a second layer. Which is what I want.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.
The last item that I am going to mention is by no means my least favourite. I feel like we will all agree that the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is a classic. It must have been around 10 years ago that I picked this up for the first time. I may not wear this incredibly frequently, but whenever I do reach for it, it makes me realised why I love it so much. The quality is amazing, it looks beautiful on the skin, and it covers incredibly well. For my hyper-pigmentation I do maybe need to pack it on a little more than the other foundations that I have mentioned. But I am happy to do that with the wonderful coverage.
