It is time for a new beauty review. Today I am going to be talking about the Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. When I first saw that this item had launched a few years back, I instantly wanted to get my hands on it. The other products that I had tried by Fenty had been absolute winners. The Fenty Hydrating Foundation was a chefs kiss kind of product.
Not to mention that I am an absolute sucker for a cream bronzer in general. So, I popped on down to Boots and walked away with this Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. After using it for months and comparing it to some of my old favourites, I am ready to share my thoughts. If you haven’t already guessed, this is a new favourite of mine…
Why I wanted this product.
The main reason why I wanted to buy this product was because I love a good cream bronzer. I had a few really good ones in my collection that I loved using. But there was something that made me want to try something new. I think the main thing was that I wanted something that was lighter on the skin. Many of the contouring/bronzing products that I had were pretty heavy and adding an additional layer always felt like hell of a lot. When I saw people talking about this, one thing that they would always drive home was how lightweight it was on the skin.
The consistency.
When I first got this Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer and opened it, it seemed like a rock-hard product. However, that quickly changed when I warmed up the product slightly. I first did so with my fingers and then once I was through that initial layer, it was a much more emollient product. Because of this, it glides onto the skin like a dream and blends out with next to no effort. It makes using this cream bronzer child’s play. No skills are required. Simply apply it and you are good to go.

The shade ranges.
As with everything Fenty Beauty, they naturally had a fantastic shade range. There was plenty of shades to match everybody. Even those at either end of the spectrum. However, one thing that was amazing about this cream bronzer is the range of undertones available. I have a very olive skintone and I find that normally bronzing products can look pretty ashy on my skin. However when it comes to this, I found a great undertone that worked for my coloring and enhanced it rather than making my skin look muddy.
Â
How this pairs with other base products.
As is obvious, I fell in love with this product very quickly. It worked amazingly, the colour was beautiful and it just seemed to work effortlessly. However, one crucial thing that the Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer had to do was to work with my foundation and other base products. The last thing I want a cream bronzer to do is to come along and ruin my makeup late on into the game. Once I have this product on, in place and set with powder, it doesn’t move or break up through the day. A winner in my book.

How it compares to similar items.
Over the last few years, there have been a few similar items that I have fallen for. Pretty recently the cream bronzers that I have been hooked on are the Elf Putty Primer and the MAC Full Coverage Foundation. Both of them have been amazing, but when I want a true warm glow, I will opt for the Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. There is just something about the lovely undertone of this and how easily it blends that puts it above the others that I have mentioned.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post about the Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. It is a pretty amazing item, and I am so glad that I picked it up. Ever since I bought it, it has been one of my go to makeup items. I think it closely compares to the Elf Putty Bronzer which is another item that I have been loving recently. I would love to hear from you guys and if you have tried this out. Make sure to leave me a comment and let me know if you loved this, hated this or are indifferent towards it. I will also pop a link below if you would like to go ahead and check it out for yourself.
