A couple of days ago, I sat and wrote you guys a post all about my favourite foundations. Today, I am turning the tables and it is time for a fashion post. To be specific, this is going to be all about my favourite high-end shoes. I have spoken here on my blog many times before about my adoration for footwear.
There is a photo of me as a 6-year-old tottering around in my step mother at the times Christian Louboutin heels. I even used to take them and hide them in my wardrobe because I loved them that much. Over the years, my obsession has grown. I now own a shoe collection that can rival the shelves of Selfridges. Today, I am going to share with you guys some of my most favourite shoes. The ones that I wear constantly and absolutely adore.
Manolo Blahnik Hangisi Pumps.
First up, I need to mentioned Manolo Blahnik. Particularly, I want to mention the Hangisi Pumps, but this is just generally about Manolo Blahnik. For me, if you are looking for a pair of high-end heels, this is the brand that you need to look at. They have wonderful designs like the amazing Hangisi pumps, but beautiful simple pumps. I wear Manolo Blahnik pumps pretty much every single day when I am heading out to work. Plus, if I ever want a pair of shoes that has something a little more special about it, they have something to fit the bill. To me, this is my favourite high-end shoes brand.
Golden Goose Trainers.
Like with many of my favourite shoes, when I first saw these, I couldn’t stand them. I thought that people must have been mad to spend hundreds of pounds for a pair of trainers that already look 10 years old. Silly old me now owns 4 different pair of Golden Goose trainers. The thing that I have grown to love is that they do looked loved. I think that is what fashion is all about. I am a big fan of grunge in general, so I don’t like perfectly white trainers, so these are ideal for me. Not to mention that they are so incredibly comfortable. I wear these at every single opportunity and I am still not stick of them!

Chanel Slingbacks.
I can remember seeing the Chanel show where these shoes made their debut. I thought that they were awful. To me, they just looked like grandma shoes. However, the more I saw them appear on the likes of Instagram and YouTube, I fell for them. The thing is, an item like this are truly timeless. I know that now I have these wonderful Chanel Slingbacks, I am going to wear them forever and a day. Still, I get people coming up to me in the street complimenting them and recognising the iconic style. That to me is what a designer pair of shoes are all about.

Dior Black Suede Boots.
When these boots were first released I fell in love with them. Unfortunately, I was only around 16 years old at the time and I couldn’t afford them. As I got older, they still played on my mind and I really wanted them. I obsessively looked on second hand designer websites. One day, I stumbled upon a pair. They were practically brand new, my size and just what I was looking for. I fell in love and had to purchase them. I now wear these Dior boots all winter long and they still look as good as new. Because they are suede I try not to wear them in rain, however they can handle me running to and from my car. I am so glad that I picked these up!
Â
Christian Louboutin Nude Iriza Pumps.
I could not write this blog post without mentioning my Christian Louboutins. As I mentioned, these really were the first high-end brand that I fell in love with. Who as a fashion lover isn’t truly captivated by the glossy red sole? As soon as I started earning money, I went and bought a pair. Little did I realise how uncomfy they were. Praise be to God for the Izira pumps because they are a pair of Louboutins that I can tolerate. In particular, I adore the nude patent version. If I am ever unsure on what heels to wear with an outfit, it is these that I reach for. They are classy and truly timeless.
Â
Vans White Slip On Trainers.
I adore every single pair of shoes that I have mentioned. However, I need to mention a high-street pair. The reason that I want to mention these is because I wear them so god damn much. As you may know, I am still an emo at heart, so my Vans are essential to me. No matter what I am wearing, I always throw on a pair of Vans. Whether it is just with jeans, with a suit for work or god knows what else, I resort to Vans. They are a wonderful and comfortable pair of shoes. They are no faff because you just slip your foot in. Not to mention that they are incredibly cushioned and that makes them the most comfortable thing in my closet!
I hope that you guys liked this blog post. Honestly, I just want to put out there that I in no way write these posts to brag about what I have. As a lover of all things designer, I still pinch myself that I can afford these items. Never in a million years did I think that I would grow up to be able to spend this kind of cash on shoes. That is why I always ensure that I am making a calculated decision before jumping into a new purchase. I need to ensure that I am going to get my money’s worth and they will stand the test of time. I hope that you guys liked this post on my favourite high-end shoes. Please do leave me a comment below. Let me know what your favourite pair is!
