I can’t believe that we are already in April, and I am sitting down to write another favourite post. If I cast my mind back many years when I was initially writing favourite posts, it only ever used to feel like two minutes since I wrote the last one. I will now and forever measure units of time in when I last wrote a favourites post.

With that said, I feel like I slowly came back to life in March. The sleepiness of winter seems to be fading, and I am feeling better and better as the days get that little, longer and the depths of winter seem to be behind us.

BEAUTY – VEIVE MODERN BRONZER

When I first bought this bronzer, I went through a stage of using it a hell of a lot, however, because I tried so many bronzers it was quickly set to one side. For the last few weeks I have been using this and I love how blendable and easy to use this product is. I will admit that I only use the lighter shade of the two from the pan, but even just with that, I feel like it is a fantastic product to pick up.

FASHION – CHANEL DOUBLE FLAP BAG

In my last monthly favourites I mentioned my small tweed Chanel bag and today I am talking about that handbag’s mother. Over the past few weeks, I have been finding myself reaching for my Chanel Double Flap Bag more than I have done for years. To be honest, this is a huge bag and sometimes can be pretty heavy. However, I can shove a spare nappy, wipes and a bottle in this Chanel bag and be on my way. We love a versatile item.

MOVIE – AQUAMAN

Some people will say that the Aquaman movies are trash. I am not one of those people. But then again, I could watch Jason Mamoa read out every line of a phonebook and I would still be engrossed in every single word that he was saying to me. There is something very comforting to me whenever I watch a superhero movie, mainly because growing up it was always the thing that I did with my dad. Plus, as I said, Jason Mamoa. Say less.

BEAUTY – CHARLOTTE TILBURY EXAGEREYES MASCARA

When this most recent mascara release was brought to the market by Charlotte Tilbury, I was pretty nervous about picking it up. The hype around it online was immense, however I remember trying the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lashes a number of years ago and I got that much smudging underneath my eyes when I was at work that I had to go into the bathroom and scrub my makeup from my skin using the hand soap. However, this one changes the game. It lengthens, adds volume and stays put all day long.

RANDOM – AT-HOME MANICURE

Many times, I have mentioned that I do my nails at home. I have probably done my own gel manicures now for over 10 years and I can’t see what I will ever go to a salon again. I can even do my own extensions and thankfully after much practice, I can now no longer tell a difference between me at home manicures and the professional ones. Recently, I have just been keeping my nails very short because it helps with my little one and I adore how they look. So grateful that I am able to do this at home and safe money and time.

TV SHOW – PARKS AND RECREATION

After watching the entire boxset of the US Office, I needed something that was a similar vibe, so naturally my mind went to Parks and Recreation. I have probably watched this just as much as I have The Office, and I love it for completely different reasons. I think the balance of characters on this show are all so fantastic. I love everybody in this show but without a doubt my two favourites are Ron and April. Throw in a side of Donna and Tom though. The most perfect show!

FASHION – FENDI BAGUETTE

You guys should know by now that I may buy handbags like they are going out of style, however I only invest in clue classics that will stand the test of time in my collection. With that said, one of my favourites over the past month has been my Fendi Baguette in the classic brown monogram print. One thing that I have really loved about this recently is that it holds so much, feels amazing quality and is a timeless style.

BEAUTY – CHARLOTTE TILBURY GLOWGASM PALETTE

I didn’t want to mention another Charlotte Tilbury item in this post but when I looked at the makeup that I have been using half to death, I couldn’t get away from the fact that I have reached for this daily. My makeup wears off very quickly these days thanks to my baby grabbing my face. Products that I can touch my base up on the go are perfect for me and that is why the Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm palette is an essential that I am loving at the moment.

BOOK – HANNAH GRACE | ICE BREAKER

I first read this book a few years ago and I love it. To begin with, I didn’t know if I would really love a ‘college romance’, mainly because I am around 10 years older than the characters. However, I think the thing I have realised when I read a novel like this is that they form as a type of escapism for me. I love the smut in this book, I love that they are never deep or hard-hitting and I love that you get your happily ever after.

PLACE – CANON HALL FARM

Over the past month, we braved leaving the house a little more and we didn’t go anywhere glitzy. In March, we got a pass to go to Canon Hall Farm which is a local place here in Yorkshire that is great for children. Now our little boy is becoming much more alert and recognising the things around him, it was great to push him around in his pram and see him get excited about all the different animals. Plus, it was a great workout for me pushing the pram through the hills and ramps!

FOOD – HARIBOS

Generally speaking, I don’t eat sweets or confectionery. I have spoken honestly before about breaking negative eating habits that have caused me to put on weight over the years and sweets like this are certainly to blame. However, every now and again they are an absolute treat. In the house, we have tiny bags of Haribo’s that are left over from Halloween, and I am absolutely hooked. I am thinking as long as I have the tiny bags in moderation, everything else is going to be ok!

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learning more about some of my favourites throughout March. I am sure that if you guys have visited this site before over the last few months or years that you guys will have heard me talk about most of these items or things before. You know if it’s a true favourite if it’s spoken about time after time.

Where possible, I will link to what I have mentioned below should you guys wish to check it out for yourself. Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know some of your March favourites.
