I am a sucker for a handbag or two. As you guys may know, I have a collection of handbags that could rival the shelves of Harrods. The thing that I love about handbags is that no matter what size you are, a handbag will always fit. The same cannot be said for shoes or clothes. Hence why I have spent so much of my hard-earned cash on handbags over the years.

That being said, today I want to round up some of my favourites. But not just any favourites, these are my favourite going out handbags. The ones that I keep in reserve for when I want to go all out with my friends. So, without further ado, here are my favourite going out handbags that I love, use and tell everybody to check out.

Prada Constellation Cahier Bag.

This is my pride and joy in handbag version. Anybody that knows me will back me up when I say that I adore the stars and the night sky. Always have and I always will. So, when I saw that Prada had brought out such a truly stunning item, I had to make it mine. It combined two of my favorite things… the stars and a designer handbag. Without a doubt, this is my most worn designer item and I am hooked on it. The quality is out of this world. I would even go as far to say that this is one of my most worn going out handbags.

Bottega Venetta The Pouch.

From the very first moment that I saw the Bottega Venetta Pouch, I was in love. But I was scared that it was going to be a trend item, so I gave it a wide berth. However, when a few months passed and the initial hype died down, I realised that I still adored this handbag. Even if it was fleeting in the eyes of Instagram, that didn’t mean that I wanted it any less. Which is why I am going ahead and purchased the stunning tan; woven leather version and I have never looked back.

Chanel Trendy.

After investing in my Chanel Double Flap Bags, I still felt like there was a Chanel size hole in my heart. At the time I didn’t know that hole was Chanel Trendy size. As soon as I went into the Chanel store and saw this for myself, it was love at first site. For the most part, if I am heading out and I want a Chanel bag, this is the item that I am reaching for. Moreso than anything else, I think I reach for this over my other Chanel bags because it is a much more manageable size.

Hermes Mini Kelly.

This is by far one of the most expensive going out handbags from my collection. The reason why I love this is because it is so chic, simple and truly classic. When I first saw this Mini Kelly circling the internet, I thought it was ridiculous. I couldn’t believe that people were willing to spend so much money on an item that would barely fit a phone. Roll on just a few short months and I was investing my own money in this Hermes item. If I am going to a upper scale event, this is the item that I reach for. It is simple, elegant and everything that I want to carry. This is the kind of handbag that allows your outfit to do the talking.

Dior Saddle Bag.

There is no way that I could write a post about my favourite going out handbags without mentioning the stunning Dior Saddle Bag. I fell in love this handbag many years ago. Long before the Saddle revival of 2018. I bought my first vintage Saddle when I was only a teenager. I saved up every penny that I had because I needed the classic monogram version of this iconic handbag. Low and behold, it is still a style that I love, use and wear to this day. I wear my black and gold version more than any other colorway, but you better believe that I wear it half to death.

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this blog post on my favourite going out handbags. These are all such stunning items and I am so glad that I invested in them. Each of these handbags I have worn half to death, and I adore them for that. I think the more you love and wear an item, the more special it becomes. For that reason, I am not precious with any of the designer items that I own. Every item that I buy, I do so because I love it and want to wear it. If they then get the odd mark because of how often I have worn them, it just serves as a memory. I will try to pop some links below to the items that I’ve mentioned. As always, I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below!
