I am sure if you are a makeup lover like I am, you are no doubt overwhelmed with the amount of beauty brands. When I first really started to fall in love with the world of makeup, there was just a few big brands out there. I am thinking along the likes of MAC, Makeup Forever, Maybelline, Nars, etc. These days, it seems like there is a new brand released every single day and it can become hard to keep up with. With that said, I try to give some of the newer brands a wide berth so that I’m not spending money unnecessarily. But one brand that kept coming into my peripheral was Makeup by Mario. There was no denying that his artistry was admirable, so I wanted to see if his products were just as good. These are the Makeup by Mario products that I think are worth the investment.
Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette.
I am pretty sure that it was this palette that first made me fall in love with the new Makeup by Mario brand. As somebody that just wants good, simple makeup on a daily basis, I don’t want palettes that contain every shade and a plethora of glitters. Give me good quality mattes that I can use in a combination of different ways. I would say that I have more or less exclusively used this palette for months, if not years at this stage and I have no plan on slowing down with it any time soon. Whenever I reach for this, I always find myself wishing that this was around when I was a freelance makeup artist!

Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin Foundation.
When this Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin Foundation was first released, I tried not to jump on the trend. I tried to convince myself that I didn’t need another liquid foundation and I stayed away. However, after seeing so many mixed reviews for this online, I realised that the only way I was going to learn if this was for me or not was to get my hands on it and put it through the ringer myself. Hooked. I am hook, line and sinker for this amazing foundation. It looks fantastic, sits great and always makes my skin look the best that it can.

Makeup by Mario Soft Sculpt Bronzing Powder.
If you guys have visited this site before, it should come as no surprise that of course I had to go ahead and pick up the bronzing powder from the Makeup by Mario range. I can remember a certain period of time here on my site when I was reviewing a new bronzing powder every single week. That isn’t even an exaggeration. However, nowadays I have scaled things back hell of a lot and I have to admit that I love this item. It glides on the skin, never looks intense, is easy to buff and it always leaves me looking on the right side of bronze.

Makeup by Mario Soft Sculpt Cream Stick.
I am all about adding definition to the skin as and where I can. Over the years I have tried out so many different cream bronzers and stick products and the truth is, I just bloody love them. I love that with a quick scribble of a product and minimal blending, it can look smooth, perfected and chiselled. Out of all the stick form bronzers that I have used recently, it is the Makeup by Mario one that I find myself coming back to. More than anything else, I think that comes down to the beautiful tone of the item. It is great for bronzing, but it doesn’t pull too warm on the skin and that is very different from so many items on the market. Â

Makeup by Mario Moisture Glow Lipstick.
I feel like we are all in the era of wanting glossy and hydrated lips. No longer do we want anything that is going to feel dry or crepey on the lips. Over the last few years, I have tried out so many different hydrating lip products and in my opinion, nothing has come close to the Makeup by Mario Moisture Glow Lipsticks. This adds a lovely amount of colour without looking too intense and they glide on like butter. What more could you want? I have every colour and when more are released, I will purchase them too.

Makeup by Mario Awakening Concealer.
You guys will know by now that for a very long time I have been a die-hard user of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I felt like it was the only item that I could truly trust to cover the darkness that I am prone to underneath my eyes. However, over the last few months I have been trying out more items, including this Makeup by Mario Awakening Concealer and I have been pleasantly surprised. This really does cover everything that I need, without feeling thick or caked on the skin. Plus, it stays put all day long.

Makeup by Mario Master Blade Brow Pencil.
Whenever it comes to eyebrow products, I want to use items that are going to get the job done as quick as possible. That is the main reason why I have found myself reaching for this Makeup by Mario Master Blade Brow on a regular basis. The nib of this seems to stay sharp all of the time and I don’t think that you can ask for more than that when it comes to a brow item. I feel like this is the perfect combination of a firm yet easily workable pencil.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and learning more about the Makeup by Mario products that I think are worth the investment. I am yet to try a product from this brand that hasn’t blown me away. Everything from the brow items, eyeshadows, base products and so much more. You can tell that the effort that has gone into the products has been carefully calculated and thought about in detail. For that reason, I am more than happy to endorse them and share with you, my favourites. As always, I will add a link below to the items that I have mentioned, should you wish to go ahead and try them out for yourself. Leave me a comment and let me know if there are any other Makeup by Mario products I should pick up soon.
