Time for a new fashion post and today I am talking all about my Valentino Rockstud heels. Whenever I post these shoes on Instagram or my blog, I always get questions about them. For that reason, I thought that I would sit down and round up all of my most asked questions about these. They are such an iconic pair of heels and since they were released, they have come in and out of style. I feel like the premise of these shoes has always been a little alternative and that is why I love about them.

Honestly, I like my items to have something different about them and that is certainly the case for these nude studded Valentino pumps. I know that you guys will have probably seen these shoes around the internet, but here is my round up and thoughts.

Why I bought them?

I bought these Valentino Rockstud heels because there was a gap in my collection for a good pair of nudes. In 2019, I was the maid of honour for my older sister and if that isn’t a good reason to spend a fortune on a pair of heels then I don’t know what is. At the time, I was looking at Louboutin’s, but after seeing so many reviews online, everybody said that these were the ones to go for. I think I picked these up and straight away, I was in love. I wore them to the wedding and much to the anger of my sister who was the bride, they stole the show!

The comfort levels.

When it comes to a pair of heels, comfort is very subjective. I am used to walking in heels, that means that I can tolerate them a lot more than others. I have had heels which are uncomfortable and ones that fit me like a glove. These ones border more on the comfortable side than the opposite. There is no nipping around the toes, even if you have wide feet like me. The ankle strap gives the perfect amount of support to your ankle. Plus, for me, it feels like these were designed for me. It is for this reason why I have worn them so much!

The heel height.

The heel height on these Valentino Rockstuds is around the 100mm mark. For me, I think that this is a fairly standard height for heels. I know that I can comfortably manage on a heel of this height all day long with no issues. I never get discomfort, pinching or pain when I stay within the realms of the 100mm area. Plus, with my tiny size, they are enough to elevate me to normal eye level without giving the impression that I am waltzing around on stilts!

How can I wear them?

One thing that I always think about when I make a spendy purchase like this is how much I am going to wear them. If I am spending the best part of £800 on a pair of heels, I want them to last. Because of that, I wear these Valentino Rockstuds for just about everything. If there is something formal, they look right at home. Likewise, if I am having a more casual day, I will throw these on with a pair of jeans and dress them down. No matter what, these are a great go to pair and I love them for that!

Would I repurchase?

This is certainly a hard question for me to answer because I have worn these so much. As I mentioned above, over the years, these shoes have come in and out of style. I think for my style now and where I am at, I wouldn’t repurchase these. I would probably go with something more classic without studs, so that they are more versatile and easier to wear. However, I always come back to the rock chick personality and these shoes are just ideal for that!

I hope that you guys liked this blog post and getting to learn more about these shoes. As I mentioned, even though these are in and out of style, I still love them. For me, they are a classic and I know that I will continue to wear them. I don’t even want to think about how much I have used and abused these over the years.

However, I would rather that be the case than them being sat on a shelf collecting dust. Shoes are meant to be worn and enjoy. I can certainly say that has been the case for these shoes. As always, I would love to hear from you guys. What do you think about these Valentino Rockstud Heels? Would you still wear them, or do you think that they have had their day?
