It is time for a new beauty review here on my little corner of the internet. In this blog post I am going to be speaking about the Natasha Denona Camel Palette. I can remember seeing this palette online quite a few months ago. From the moment that I glimpsed at it I knew that I was going to have to add it to my ever-growing collection.
It wasn’t until I saw this launch on the Cult Beauty website that I finally decided to pick it up and try it out for myself. After using it quite a lot over the past couple of months, I thought that I would get around to sharing my thoughts. I know that Natasha Denona is a highly popular brand, but I just don’t know if this palette was a winner for me!
Why I wanted this palette?
The main reason why I wanted this Natasha Denona Camel Palette is because everybody else seemed to use it. I was seeing some of my favourite YouTubers like Casey Holmes using it and it just seemed to look so effortless and easy. That is what I am all about at the moment. Streamlining my collection and having products that are a one stop solution that are simple and easy to use. Plus, I loved the small and compact size because it just makes things so easy. I envisaged throwing out all of my other small palettes because this one is so fantastic and compact.

The shade range?
My main draw to this palette was always the shade range. Even though Natasha Denona was a brand that I had already heard of and wanted to try the products. However, I already had a good collection of items and I didn’t feel like I had to get my hands on them immediately. However, that changed when I saw the Natasha Denona Camel palette. I don’t use many eyeshadows on a daily basis. However, this small palette seemed to encompass every single shade that I migrate towards and use on a daily basis. It was love at first sight for this little palette!

How they blend?
I am sure that with the popularity of Natasha Denona this will come as no surprise. These shades blend in like an absolute dream. They are pigmented enough that you get great coverage from the shade. However, they are not too pigmented to the point that they are powdery and will end up all over your cheeks. I have been there many times before when it comes to eyeshadows. I have tried every single shade in this palette and all of them blend like a dream and look amazing!

How they look?
Here is my issue with this Natasha Denona Camel Palette. The shades seem to change colour on my eyes. Inside the pan of product, they look like lovely and warm neutrals. However, once they are on my eyes, they look ashy and super cool toned. I don’t know what it is or what makes it go like this, but every time I have used it, this happens. Whether it is just the tones of the palette or if it is something that I have on my eyes already. No matter what I use or how I use this palette it always looks very cool toned, which is the opposite of what I want for a ‘Camel’ palette.

How they last?
Even though the colour is not really what I wanted from the palette, it does perform well. I always mention here in my reviews that on a typical day I will have my makeup on for around 12 hours. In this time, I can see the shades lose their vibrancy a little, but it is nothing to write home about. I still think that they are long-lasting enough for me to reach for on a daily basis and I love that about it. Honestly, I just wish that the shades were better and actually true to colour on my eyes!
I hope that you guys liked this blog post and learning about the Natasha Denona Camel Palette. The shame is that I was super excited for this palette. When it was getting delivered, I didn’t even put on eyeshadow, and I took a buffing brush into work because I was desperate to try it on my lunch break. Everything about this Natasha Denona Camel Palette should have been perfect, but it just didn’t work like that for me. Honestly, I would love to hear form you guys. Did I get a dud palette? Or have you tried this, and it is just quite an ashy palette? As always, I will leave a link to this product below if you do want to invest in a cool toned palette. It simply isn’t for me and that kills me!
