Over the years, I have been very lazy when it comes to implementing a regimented skincare routine. Up until just a few years ago, my skincare routine would consist of running a Simple wipe around my face and calling it a day. Needless to say, the older that I got, the quicker I began to see signs of aging on my face, and I knew that I needed to up my game. Over the past couple of years, I have made a huge effort in implementing a routine that works for me and I have seen a huge difference. In this post I am going to share with you the products that have breathed new life into my skin.

Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm.

The first item that I need to mention is the amazing Elemis Pro Cleansing Balm. I use hell of a lot of long-lasting makeup products each day that I want to stay put all day long. Because of that, when it comes to removing my makeup, it can be hell of a lot of work. However, the Elemis Pro Cleaning Balm makes easy work of it. I lightly pat water over my skin, then pick up a very small amount of this and within seconds of working it into my skin, my makeup is melting from my skin. Amazing and completely worth the money.

Inkey Lust Fulvic Acid Cleanser.

The main reason why I first invested in this cleanser is because I was given a sample from a big Cult Beauty order that I placed. This was a small sample and I fell in love with how clean my skin felt after. I take just a very small amount of this after I have done my first cleanse to remove makeup and with this Inkey List Fulvic Cleanser, I feel like it really gets into my pores and cleans them out, without stripping my skin and making it feel dry. That is a delicate balance and I feel like this item does it right.

Ren AHA Toner.

I think like most people, for a long time I wondered if things like toners and essences were just a rip off to get people that were vain like myself to invest in yet another skincare item. Over the years I have tried a few different toners and even though they have been pleasant on the skin, I couldn’t really say that they have made a noticeable difference to the skin to the point that I want to add it. However, that all changed when I tried the Ren ANA Toner. I pat this into the skin after cleansing and my complexion has never looked more glowy, natural or flawless.

Drunk Elephant Baby Facial.

One of the main problem areas with my skin has always been areas of dark pigmentation on my cheeks. I knew that off the back of that, I probably needed to implement something into my skincare routine to try and combat that. One product that was mentioned to me time and time again was the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial. I use this once per week and the difference that I see in my skin within just a day or two is staggering. It is a clear, noticeable difference that others seem to notice too!

Beauty Pie Vitamin C Capsules.

Over the years, I have tried quite a lot from Beauty Pie. I tried to stay away from it in the early days because I don’t really like the subscription form of purchasing. However, there is no denying that some of the products that I have used are fantastic dupes for high-end products and they do fantastic things to the skin. One item that I am head over heels with is the Beauty Pie Vitamin C Capsules. I truly find that after using these, my skin has been awoken and it looks bright, luminous and truly amazing!

Skin and Me Daily Doser.

This may be the only time you see anybody talk about this item online that isn’t sponsored. The truth is, I did initially pick this up after seeing it online and a plethora of influencers shoving it down my throat. I decided to pick this up because I do truthfully get overwhelmed by the sheer number of skincare products on the market and trying to decipher if they work in conjunction with one another. But with the Skin and Me, it is an all in one solution that I can use after cleansing and I feel like I am still taking care of my skin, even if it is a lazy effort.

As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learning more about some of my favourite skincare items. What I have learnt when it comes to skincare in particular is that it doesn’t come down to the cost of the item. Good quality skincare products can be found at all price brackets, it is simply about weeding them out of the crowd and distinguishing what works for you. I will add a link to the products that I have mentioned below for you to go ahead and check them out for yourself. Leave me a comment and let me know if there are any other skincare items that I could add into my daily roster.
