If you have visited this site before, then I am sure you will be aware that I am a massive fan of Louis Vuitton. My love of this brand started when I was very young, and I went into a high-end fashion boutique for the very first time. We were holidaying in the South of France and my stepmother at the time took me to Louis Vuitton. We barely had enough money to afford the holiday so purchasing anything was not on the agenda, but it was my first time that I ever window-shopped.
From that day, my wish list for Louis Vuitton items began to grow and I never imagined that I would be in the privileged position to own items from the brand. With that said, I hope you realise how fortunate I feel to be sharing with you some of my most beloved Louis Vuitton items from my collection.
Louis Vuitton Neverfull.
This was the first Louis Vuitton that I purchased and that is the reason that I am talking about it first in this post. When I started work and earning money, I needed a fancy workwear handbag. This was the first bag that popped into my head. I logged onto Vestiaire Collective, picked one up very cheap and I have used it consistently for almost a decade. Even when people claimed that this bag was old news, I continued to use it and all of a sudden it seems to have had a resurgence in popularity once again.

Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis.
If you have visited this site, you may know my struggle and fight to get my hands on the Pochette Metis. Around 15 years ago, this was the ‘it’ bag on Pinterest. You would see amazing influencers toting this item and it made me fall in love. It was infamously out of stock on the Louis Vuitton website so I ended up calling Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris and asking how I could own this. I was told that there was no waiting list, but if I wanted to leave my number they would see what they could do. Almost 6 months later I got a phone call and there was a Pochette Metis available. The rest is history.

Louis Vuitton Alma MM.
To me, the Alma is a shape that is timeless from Louis Vuitton. This was actually the handbag that I mooned over all of those years ago when I visited that fateful store in the South of France. At the time, I wanted the colourful Alma handbag, but these days it is the classic monogram that I went with. Just like some of the other Louis Vuitton’s in my collection, this sits on my shelves and every now and again I pull it out and I love it like I never put it away.
Â
Louis Vuitton Side Trunk.
This is without a doubt the most recent release that Louis Vuitton have come out with that I am going to mention in this list. As I have stated many times before, I am a fan of the classics, so it isn’t very often that I see a runway item and want to invest. However, it was love at first site with the Side Trunk. This is the appearance of a classic Louis Vuitton trunk, yet with the classic slouchy canvas in-between. This may be hit or miss for others, but for me I knew that I could find a perfect home for this in my collection.
Â
Louis Vuitton Speedy.
This is another one of those Louis Vuitton handbags that I am sure needs no introduction to you guys. If my mind serves me right, this was actually the very first Louis Vuitton handbag that I saw on the pages of Vogue that made me fall in love. Many years after falling in love with it for the first time, I purchased one second and I have been in love ever since. Plus, I adore the shape so much that I have since invested in some other sizes including the vastly impractical nano size which I am head over heels in love with.
Â
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle.
I dream of one day owning a large country home where I have a tall stack of Louis Vuitton trunks. However, until that far off dream comes true, I have my beautiful Petite Malle. This is a tiny trunk that you can carry around with you and own a piece of that classic Louis Vuitton luggage but on a tiny scale. For me, whenever I carry this with me, it is about carrying a piece of art rather than a practical handbag because to be honest, my phone doesn’t even fit inside this thing!
Â
Louis Vuitton Agenda.
This is the only item that I am going to mention in this post that isn’t a handbag. For a long time, I looked at this online and I really wanted to invest, but I am a fan of making digital notes rather than a hard copy. But when I began writing my novels, I found something really cathartic about writing notes and scrawling down different ideas. Because I was finding myself writing more notes, I invested. These days, I cannot be without this, and wherever I go, so is my Louis Vuitton Agenda.

Louis Vuitton Palm Spring Backpack.
When the babies came along, I needed something practical that I could carry with me that was completely hands-free. Even though my large tote bag can be thrown on my shoulder, when it is loaded up with everything that I might need, I didn’t feel like it was the most suitable item. With this, I can throw it on, be on my way, and know that everything is comfortable and easy to access. Plus, even when I’m not in mom mode, I still get plenty of use out of this.
Â
Louis Vuitton Keepall.
This is unnecessary. I know it is. I longed for this for such a long time. I wanted to be a boujee ass woman whenever I was travelling or out and about. But even back then I realised that this was completely over the top for how much I would wear it. In the end, I decided to treat myself when I saw an almost brand-new one listed on Vestiaire Collective for a very reasonable price. I have found myself using this hell of a lot recently and each and every time I realise that I love it thoroughly.
Â
Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette.
When I first saw this bag, I knew that I was going to have to add it to my collection. This reminded me of my beloved Pochette Metis, but the difference was that the different compartments were not attached to each other. That meant for the price of the one handbag, you get a number of smaller items that can be worn together, or separately if wanted. I have actually found myself using the smallest pochette with the gold strap more than any other Louis Vuitton in my collection recently and I adore how it looks.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and getting to learn more about some of my favourite Louis Vuitton items in my collection. I like to think that with these key items, I have so many of the iconic products at my disposal and the need to purchase more from the brand will fade away.
I want to hear from you guys in the comments below by sharing with me what some of your favourite Louis Vuitton items are and why.
