I am sure that you guys are already well aware that I am a huge fan of designer handbags. From a very young age, they captured my heart and I have loved them ever since. When I was growing up without two pennies to rub together, never in a million years did I think that I could own the items that I do.
It is still very much a pinch me moment to be in this position. Recently, I began to look at my vast collection and wonder what items I consider to be the best of the best. No doubt, you will have seen me mention these items countless times before!
Celine Romy Handbag.
The first item that I am going to mention is one of the latest additions to my closet, but one that I have fallen head over heels for. Firstly, I saw this handbag on Instagram and was instantly taken aback by the simplistic beauty. I loved that it has next to no branding other than the small Celine print by the zip. But the thing that gets me reading for this handbag endlessly is that it is a great shape. In my handbag collection, I seemed to either have enormous tote bags, or small evening bags, I needed something that sat in between for everyday and that is where the Celine Romy comes into play!

Hermes Birkin.
As it is for many people, this handbag was one of those that I categorised in the ‘never owning’ section. Buying a Chanel bag was one thing, but them jumping up the ladder and investing in Hermes was something that I never expected. When I was offered my dream bag from Hermes, I naturally bit their hand off and I have been using it ever since. Truly timeless. I can’t wait for this handbag to be 50 years old, looking incredibly well loved and battered, but it still been my go-to item. As much as I wish I was precious about this, I’m not because I am determined to get my moneys worth out of the stunning item!

Chanel Trendy.
Chanel is a brand that I have shared a lot about here on my channel. When I was younger, I used to cut the Chanel bags out of my Vogue magazine and stick them to my wall. It was an aspirational purchase that I never dreamed that I would own. Nowadays, out of my many Chanel bags, the one that I gravitate towards more than any other is the Trendy. I think as I get older, I have fallen in love with lambskin handbags. Incredibly impractical because it is so soft that a gust of wind can scratch it, but there is no denying that it looks beautiful.

Bottega Veneta Pouch.
God knows how many times I have spoken about this handbag since I first added it to my collection many years ago. When this was first released, I fell in love. Honestly, my eyes converted into heart eyes, and I was hooked. However, people online were endlessly saying that this was a trend piece and I decided to keep my distance. However, shortly after I found myself adding it to my basket on Net-A-Porter and buying my stunning tan baby. I quickly realised that I wasn’t bothered if this was a trend piece for the rest of the world, for me, my closet and my style, this is a forever piece. I have used it more than I care to mention, and I will never tire of it.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and learning more about my favourite four handbags from my collection. These are the products that if my house burned down tomorrow, I would be running to repurchase them the following day. They are all core items that are the base for so many of my outfits and I adore using them. As always, I will add a link to the products below should you guys want to check them out for yourself. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think about the big four and let me know some of your favourite items!
