It is time for a new beauty review here on my blog. Today I am going to chat to you all about Jo Malone perfume. I can remember first really hearing and learning about this brand when I was in my teenage years. I would walk through House of Fraser, looking at all of the makeup that I couldn’t afford. Desperate to get my hands on I honestly daydreamed of owning something from Jo Malone.
When my first blog really started to take off and I started earning money from the blog posts that I was publishing, I realised that I was going to have to try this brand out for myself and I went ahead and bought about 10 different fragrances, to say that I went a little overboard would be putting it incredibly mildly!
What are my favourite scents?
As I mentioned, I have tried quite a few different Jo Malone products at this stage and I have to admit that I have narrowed down some of my all time favourites that have really stood the test of time in my collection. For me, my favourites are Peony and Blush Suede, Wood Sage and Sea Salt and finally Pomegranate Noir. For me, with these three different scents, with the various undertones they are suitable to wear all year round. Not to mention that I layer all three of these fragrances in different combinations and I adore how they smell when they work together and it means that I don’t just have three favourites, I have more like 12 different ones because of all the ways I can interchange them and wear them in different ways.
Why do I love them?
It is pretty obvious from what I have already written in this blog post that I am a big fan of Jo Malone perfume. I have spent a fair amount of cash on the brand over the years. Here I wanted to write why I actually love this brand so much. Plus, why I continue to support them. I think that for me, it is a whole heritage thing. I grew up and this was a brand that I truly pined for. When I could finally go ahead and buy their products not only was it a little bit of a pinch-me moment. I was also completely bowled over by the amazing quality. Not to mention that wherever you go, the service is fantastic. You know that they are going to find a fragrance that works for you and what you like.
How do they last on me?
One issue that I have had many times with fragrances over the years is that I just don’t think that they really last very well on me. I can apply a perfume and it smells divine, then by the time I am out of the house about 15 minutes later, I can’t even smell it on me. I know that some people think if you can’t smell your perfume on yourself, it is perfect for you. But I have even asked other people and they struggle to smell my perfume. But, with the Jo Malone range, this is a scent that I can pick up on all day long. Don’t get me wrong, it does reduce throughout the day, but with one waft of my scarf or something I can smell that it is still there and I absolutely love that about the quality of Jo Malone products.
Would I repurchase these?
As much as I obviously love Jo Malone, I am always very cautious when it comes to repurchasing. That is for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that I think over time, perfumes can begin to smell different to you. Not to mention that if I am to wear the same perfume forever and a day without switching it up here and there, the chances are that I am going to get bored of it and end up tossing it out of the window and never trying it again. For now, I am really enjoying purchasing the small 30ml bottles. They are perfect for whatever season/period I want to wear them, without overdoing it.
I hope that you guys liked this blog post. If you are looking for a new fragrance give Jo Malone perfume a try. Their service is absolutely second to none. If you chance to go into a Jo Malone store or even to one of their concession stands, you will not be disappointed. I know that I have been incredibly impressed with the service and attention to detail. I would love to hear from you guys. Please make sure to leave me a comment down below.
